I've been hitting the gym more lately. I've lost an inch from my hips and 7 pounds, gained some muscle tone and more definition in my abs... I'm going to make everyone wait till I get home and start shooting again to see the whole Scarlett 2.0... the same old me, just better! I hope to be able to do some fitness modelling one day!

I'm still alive!

If you have newly circled me or otherwise have no idea why I'm not posting anything - rest assured that you have not accidentally circled a ghost profile. I am indeed a real, living person, and I do indeed take lovely, sensual, sultry photos for your viewing pleasure. However, I'm on a hiatus! Remember? So, I'm several months into it now and pretty much out of images to post. I also live abroad and my connection in my not so sweet country hates Google plus. So... I just leave it alone these days.

Thank you so much to every one who has been following me! If you can stick with it there will be some great new images coming from me later this summer. I hope to see you all on the flip side!

Ok guys, I said I would post a candid photo the other day... I actually have a much better photo in mind, but its sitting on a friends camera, and as soon as I get it, I'll post it. I thought I would make a point to answer this for all of you because I've been asked similar questions more than once.

I currently own a fancy nikon point and shoot, and have some photos I'll share at some point later in time from here in Africa. I do plan on buying a a DSLR soon as I hope to really learn how to do the photos... lol... point and shoots just aren't doing it for me anymore. I'm a huge fan of landscape and macro photography.

Here is one of my favorite photos that I have taken myself, of Big Sur in California. I took it a couple years ago with a super shitty casio and edited it a bit with Gimp.

I am by no means a fantastic photog but I do have plans to learn the trade.

An Astral Concerto

When I left Seattle on Friday afternoon bound for Palouse, I had no idea what to expect. I'd never shot at this location before, and I'd never scouted it ahead of visiting there. I was going in blind... and I was honestly pretty excited about it. There's a lot to be said for shooting on the edge of your seat and really challenging yourself to see what you can come up with.

+Rod Hoekstra and +Nitin Kansal, my shooting cohorts for the weekend, realised the time as we left Seattle. While I was snoozing comfortably in the back seat of the car, they'd decided it'd be a great idea if we just gunned it out there without stopping, so we could make it to Palouse Falls in time to shoot sunset. I didn't mind at all, it just meant more great light for me shooting a location I'd never shot before.

You are going to love me in January.... I'll be posting a photo every day for a couple of weeks. A year ago in January one of the photographers I first started to shoot with passed away. His name was Kurt Horn and was one of those guys who really loved what he did and didn't want or need any recognition. He didn't care that he wasn't shooting glamour for magazines, he just wanted to get out and have some fun. He was a pleasure to work with and gave me lots of shooting time that is invaluable to a new model still trying to figure it out (I was not a "natural" in front of the camera) So you'll get so see some of my earlier images, before I started to get really sexy.
