Every so often you have a moment with a creature in the wild when for some unknown reason they arn't scared of you and you get to really feel a connection between the two of you. Today when I drove by this Red-Tailed Hawk I expected it to fly, but instead it ignored me and just glanced my way once in a while. I slowly got out of the truck and it didn't seem apprehensive at all. It looked all around for prey or danger, but it didn't act like I was either one. As I slowly walked closer to it I was running out of room for the hawk in the frame. As I removed my teleconvertor I expected it to take flight, but it didn't.
