ARTISTS! If you're sharing your work on Google+ there's one important new "feature" you're going to want to disable immediately! Auto Enhance.
You know those colors you slaved over for hours to get just right? Google+ thinks it can do better, and if you don't turn it off it will boost up the saturation and blow out the contrast, forcing you to go back to every image individually to undo it.
Or, you can nip it in the bud right now. Go to the left to make the pop up menu appear, hit settings, and uncheck the box I've highlighted below.

My first roll of 35mm film. I sent it out for processing/scanning since I don't have my own gear for that. Ilford fp4, shot on a Canon Elan with Canon 50mm f/1.4 and EF 17-40mm f/4 L.

This photo represents a first for me, my first roll of film processed and uploaded. Ilford fp4 125.  I picked up a used Elan 7 EOS film camera a couple of months ago and thought I would see what I could do. I could definitely get into this, especially if I had my own developing equipment.

On hold with GoDaddy for 30 minutes while they're trying to track down my problem. As soon as I get these three databases backed up and downloaded to my own computer, I am completely done with them. My experience with them the last three days have been nothing short of atrocious. Not a happy camper tonight.

Quick upload from last night on the Oregon coast. There was a not-quite-full moon, and some wispy clouds, so I thought I'd take a stroll along the beach to see what I could find. Since I don't have Lightroom on my laptop, this is just a UFRaw conversion edited in GIMP. This was taken on a card that wasn't corrupted.

So apparently that awesome sunset here on the Oregon coast didn't happen. I shot photos/videos for about 15 minutes, got back to the hotel room to get it backed up on the computer, and...nothing. They show up on the camera, but the computer tells me it can't find them on the card to download. Dang.

1921, according to the signs on the bridge. I know that's not old in some parts of the world, but that's a pretty old bridge where I live. Dry Canyon Creek Bridge along the historic Columbia River Highway, at Rowena, Oregon.
