Another gripe: Just because I'm reading my "Friends" Circle doesn't mean that just because I want to share something, I want to limit it to that circle. Leave it blank, or make it default to Public.

Oh, and don't be fooled by the "Settings" button at the bottom of the G+ menu: it has zilch to do with G+. It should more properly be called "Account Settings."

Okay, I like the notification of new posts in the current stream button. And I like that the new ones are separated from the previously-read posts.
NOW HOW THE HELL DO I GET BACK TO WHERE I WAS BEFORE I CLICKED THAT GREEN BUTTON??

"It depends who you ask"? Really, TNW? Your anti-Microsoft bias is pretty blatant there. After all, you can ask the experts who tested the browsers, or you can ask Chrome/Safari/Firefox/Opera fanboys. (I looked for an explanation of the "It depends..." statement and found none.)
BTW: I use Chrome, exclusively.

Just in case no one heard me the first time: I'll happily trade my non-retina Macbook Air for a Kirabook. I'll even throw in some cash!

I've already seen people bitching about this. If you need more storage, 10GB more is peanuts. Or get rid of all that spam you're hoarding.

Interesting, but unsurprising. Keep in mind, though, that most high-paid coaches are not paid solely with state funds.

For you other self-trackers out there (like me!). Is there a point to self-tracking if you don't have goals? I think not. For years, I've been weighing myself daily, but with only the foggiest of goals, if any. Now, however, my goals are concrete, and attainable.

This isn't about the rat-meat story, but about the reporting of the rat-meat story: It seems FOX is not above a little, shall we say, plagiarism.

Pretty good insight here, although I've suspected this ever since United went bankrupt (I was a United employee then). Back before 9/11, airline margins were negative for economy-class travel, and usually negative for business- and first-class.
That's why 9/11 hurt US airlines (at least) so hard: They were barely making it as it was, and then to have their most valuable customers—business travelers—pretty much stop flying for a quarter of the year, or more, followed by a recession...yikes.

Think I gotta go with the Rays on this, and maybe Tom Hallion needs to take a couple extra days off. After all, players get tossed for using that kind of language to umps.

I'm very proud to have been the copyeditor for this amazing book. Like fantasy? Like steampunk? How about interactive webserial? Everyone has a secret in Choose, and ferreting out all those secrets is an engrossing part of this book. (At least one character holds a secret of which he is completely unaware!) . . . global warming can increase snowfall, because warmer air can hold more moisture. The average temperatures are increasing, but it still gets cold in winter, so we still get snow, and in some places there’s more snow to fall.

Let's all say it together: Andrew Wakefield was unethical, his research flawed (if not a complete fraud), so much so that his medical doctorate was revoked. There is zero ZERO scientific evidence relating any kind of vaccine to autism.
Personal anecdotes are not a substitute for science.
