Shot the second half of this last night on a GoProHD (8 Gigs, ~1200 11MP images. I have really enjoyed tinkering with it... actually enough to want to get a second one... Someone Else (Note: there are sea lions on the dock on the right. As it gets darker... you can see outbound aircraft from LAX on the left and the Incoming flight path on the right. There is also a fish that jumps that the fishermen don't seem to see.)

Cover Photo and Feature photos by Garret Baquet. www.garretbaquet.com
Every year, the Pasadena Showcase house takes over a home and has world class designers remodel and design each room. This year 28 Interior Designers were photographed in every room and outside area of the Pasadena Showcase house, in the area that they are going to design. These are the 'Before' pictures.
The time constraints were crazy. The shoot started the day that the house was available and the print deadline was roughly 48 hours away... No flash was used, all images exposure bracketed, most HDR processed and desaturated. Garret Baquet opted for natural light to keep gear weight down, exposure bracketed. Minimizing image count, in camera deletions on location, 2 computers and a bit of luck... managed to hit the deadline. Editor Justin Kibbe organized the shoot perfectly!

I couldn't wait to render this one, learned a bunch of things that will simplify workflow considerably. Lemme know if you want to know more, will gladly share details... It's not particularly hard to shoot time lapse but it takes patience, planning and tinkering... I love these ever complex workflows! I intended on just shooting an HDR and figured I would give TL a try. 300 22MP images later...

The photos went to print recently. Shot and processed them a bit different than usual. The shot of Bill Boggard in front of Pasadena City Hall was a challenge. I knew I wanted them to turn on all of the lights... and that City hall would be a long ways off in the background, that the Mayor would have to be lit... and that I wanted to shoot bracketed for HDR at Low ISO... and then it was raining... and the best shot would be in the middle of the street... and running power was out of the questions... so.... I grabbed a 12V Marine Battery, 3000watt Inverter, A hand Truck, CStand and 500w Soft Box... https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/7eSk60xXmtCNga39_DK8ANMTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm0?feat=directlink

I have a Photosynth Panorama that went missing from Microsoft's server; it wasn't deleted or moved... it just vanished. The guys over at Microsoft Labs were kind enough to resurrected it.
I guess this pano is looking to be seen, again... for the 2nd time :)

Christmas Day Photosynth of The Village in Glendora, California. All of the shops were closed, people were home. I have never seen so few people in an otherwise vibrant area. The absence of vehicles at 3pm on a Sunday. I shot around cars driving so that there would not be ghosts in the source HDR composites.
This was 99 images converted into 33 HDR images. The 33 images were color corrected, etc and were stitched to make the following:
