My first time photographing the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

Have you ever a feeling that there's a picture that you must capture even though it require breaking the law? While on vacation, we drove across this bridge in South Beach, Fl many times in awe of the beauty of Downtown Miami.

For this shot, I wanted to capture the view but the only way was to pull over on the side of the bridge where only emergency vehicles are allowed. To avoid risking a ticket, I had to be as fast and ready for the shot. I had my wife drive the car as I sit in the passenger seat setting up my camera. Once she pulled over to the side and stopped; I swung open my door, busted out my tripod, set a long exposure, and 30 seconds later I got the shot I was looking for. 

This was my last shot I took when I was in Miami for a cruise to the Caribbeans. Sometimes you have to take a risk for your reward.

Caged in but still looking for the hunt

This is Japa, a spotted 4 year old leopard at Jungle Island, Miami. I caught him pacing back and forth along this fence like he was trying to figure a way to get out. I had my 105mm micro on me and stood right in front of his path, hoping to get his eyes in my direction. I had to try and position my lens so it can shoot through the hole of the fence that separated him from tearing me apart. It took a couple pacing back and forth before I manage to get this shot. Short after he stopped and went to get a drink of water and laid in the shade.

This is one of those photos that I generally revisit and feel that I wished my focus was more on the tiger. I was trying to focus on the eyes but caught the foliage in the front instead. But every time I revisit it, the more I like it. Maybe its the expression of the tiger that draws me back. Let me know what you think?

The Dolphin Cay at Atlantis Resorts in Bahamas

This place got it all. Water park, beaches, aquarium, and even a casino. A true family resort with a casino for the adults. We were lucky enough to get some free tickets to the Dolphin Encounter from the resort package. We didn't know what to expect, specially with our 2 year old boy at the time. When walked into the Dolphin Cay, all we could do was look at each other. This place had 5 bays with crystal blue water and dolphins casually swimming around. They made us dressed into wet suits and walked into the water with the instructor. With a command from the instructor, the dolphin came rushing over to greet us. It was definitely an experience we will never forget.
