Here's a recommendation for our members representing a company - this is a community, not a captive audience. When I see a post that's pure sales, I visit the member's page. If all they do is post the same thing in multiple communities, I delete the post. If the member does this multiple times, I ban the member. So please add value, not garbage. 

We have many companies who add value in this community. They post information, articles, and are involved in the discussions. Emulate them if you want to engage the membership. Drive-by dumps of information will be deleted.

I went on a bit of a post deleting trip today. My preference is that this group be a self-supporting grass roots project management discussion community. If you have seats to fill for training, please don't post them here. Maybe you can start a community for selling seat time where people who want to pay for training can choose to join.

I have one piece of all-sport gear that I use in the warm months. It''s a Bondiband head band. It keeps the sweat out of my eyes when I run or cycle. I only have one of these, and it was purchased from Dailymile when the were running a fundraiser. 

I know that the #bikecommutercabal  raffled a #zombieraccoon  hat off for charity last year. It would be totally awesome if we could custom design a Cabal head band on a Bondiband, and donate the profit to a suitable bicycle oriented organization. 

Dailymile facilitated the sales by asking for prepaid orders. The person who organized the fundraiser mailed the headbands in a #10 envelope with standard First Class USPS postage. 

I don't have time to set up or manage this, but thought it would be something worthwhile to toss out there for consideration. We'd probably have to identify regional coordinators, soour ... more »

Here's a question for the group - I have a few pairs of VFFs. The KSOs and Bikilas are easy to get into. My Flows are more difficult for one toe. I think I may have broke it years ago, and it curls as I push it into the little tube. Some mornings I have to massage my toe until it flattens enough to safely run. Does anyone have a trick to entice an uncooperative toe into its space?

I get busy at times, and often go a few days before getting here to read and comment. One of the things that make a community work, is involvement. This equates to acknowledging posts, and making comments. As the moderator, I see this as one of my roles. 

Another role of the moderator is to remove any posts that have no tie to the wide focus of this blog.

If you are interested in being a moderator, and are involved in this community (meaning you post and comment) please let me know. I'd like to add two or three moderators so we can increase engagement. Even if you don't want to be a moderator, consider commenting, sharing, or "+"ing posts.
