Still surprised that people are so upset over the +Abercrombie & Fitch CEO statement made years ago. What is most interesting (aka: hypocritical) is that nobody is upset with +++sized stores for not selling smaller sizes.

What I find fascinating about #EmmaWay20  is that she seems infinitely more apologetic for the tweet where she bragged about running over a cyclist than she is about actually running over the cyclist!
She also seems to be outright lying in the interview when she says that she didn't know she ran him over when in her tweet (while she was driving?) she wrote, "Definitely knocked a cyclist off his bike earlier - I have right of way he doesn't even pay road tax! #bloodycyclist "
(interestingly enough... I'm not sure that there's even a road tax in the UK - but I digress.)

The article gives more details but she's since been suspended by her employer and claims that social media has blown this out of proportion.  Although I'm not sure exactly what "social media" did here other than help to get her caught by the police - but you couldeq... more »

"The last time Congress passed a disaster aid package was in January, in response to Hurricane Sandy. Nearly 180 House Republicans voted against the $50.5 billion package, in large part because they were demanding that it be offset with spending cuts elsewhere. After outcry over delays from New England lawmakers in both parties, Republican leaders brought the bill to the floor without offsets and it passed with mostly Democratic votes.

Oklahoma's senators are in an awkward position given their past opposition to disaster aid packages without offsets. Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) has already said that he wants any Oklahoma disaster aid package to be offset. Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), meanwhile, has signaled he may not push for offsets in this case."

Down 6lbs in the 2 weeks since I got the #fitbit  and 11lbs total since getting back to paying attention to myself.  My goal is actually to hit 20% #BMI  by end of year (although I'm not in agreement w/the auto calculations of BMI we get f/the dashboard.)  

I'm hoping if I share here that we'll see more stories from others - they really are fun to read!
