This is in fact one of the very first shots I did after I got my D3 in late 2012. It's a multi-exposure of 3 exposures, (done in the camera at the scene), because I like to have some kind of movement in the picture, and I didn't at the time being have any suitable filters because I just had gone from DX to FX. I've just finished re-editing it, and I don't think I've ever published it either.

Received my new Wacom Intuos 5 Touch Medium today and have just started working on it. So far this really is just what I though it would be and plenty more, can't see how I've ever managed without one! Can't understand those who prefer the old mouse instead of this wonder..

Another shot I've never posted or published anywhere, don't think that'll ever happen either. If you look a bit above the upper right rock you'll see a bit chromatic aberration, at least what I think it is, looks kind of like smoke from the boat or something.

Shot 1: Selfie in traffic mirror

I never take a colour shot and convert it into Black & White, (even these digital days). Because when I go out shooting monochrome I've already turned the settings to B/W, (and yes, I shoot in RAW), because I like to kind of "think" and see in B/W. Guess it's something I got dragging on from the good old film days. Which in fact I now think is about to become more and more of my world again, as I take the old Nikkormat down from the shelves.. ;-)

Isn't it ironic..

You see that beggar. -It could be you. -It was me.

For not more than four years ago I sat at the exact same spot begging for money for my next heroin shot. Life was awful, life was a living nightmare and I even tried to end it a couple of times, without succeeding in that, (luckily..).

What I'm trying to say I guess, is that we are all just humans, fragile as glass but also hard as rock. And don't "look down" on that beggar or junkie, like he or she isn't even one of us. It's in fact your brother and sister going through a rough time in their life's.

Volcano Islands

Just a very short boat trip from my hometown Fredrikstad, lies "Missingene", which is a couple of islands brought up from volcano activity some thousands of years ago. It was hard to photograph, because of the landscape there were so special. And I had to ask myself; "Did I take the boat to the moon or what"..Hundreds of rabbits running around and a lot of flowers on the top, while a little lower it were kind of a very "moonish" landscape, and not a living thing. I hope I'll get some better shots next year, got to keep on trying..
