A) Where are these "ads" they are talking about? I haven't seen an ad on the Internet in forever (adblockplus FTW).

Microsoft teamed up with Paravel (http://paravelinc.com/work/microsoft.php) to create a brand new version of Microsoft.com (to soon spread out to the rest of the site) that is both extremely responsive design (any device) and clean!  It takes it's design from the new Windows 8 (prior known as 'Metro') design style.

But I don’t agree personally for this.
For a tech guru like Robert, yes apps are mean a lot and yes his job is been with startups.
this is how he is looking into this, from his own perspective. High end tech guy..
I have lots of apps on my IPhone, most of them I have used once or twice. Only there are few useful once that I’m using regularly.
Because apart from the important productivity apps, for other apps, people will lose the interest.
Same with the games., only few will remain.
Most of the non tech people out there even don’t know what the OS is when they buy their devices, they mainly looking into hardware features.
And also most people spending time on FB, twitter, G+ , email and other web sites.so iftheir devic... more »
