Scientists develop advanced biological computer

"(Phys.org) —Using only biomolecules (such as DNA and enzymes), scientists at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology have developed and constructed an advanced biological transducer, a computing machine capable of manipulating genetic codes, and using the output as new input for subsequent computations. The breakthrough might someday create new possibilities in biotechnology, including individual gene therapy and cloning. The findings appear today (May 23, 2013) in Chemistry & Biology (Cell Press)."

It is situated in Jungfraujoch, Switzerland. At an astonishing 3.571 meters above sea level, the Sphinx observatory in the Swiss Alps is the highest-altitude built structure in Europe.

Buongiorno Mondo!
First I hate this app (G+ on iPhone) I'm re-doing the post...
This morning I waked up early to bring my parents to the a/d.
So I decided to to do a "TimeLapse" like that was around a couple of month ago with a/c at the T.O.
As I expected I need a lens longer or nearest to the a/d ( but this complicate d/t Italian law and landscape).
I lost the sunrise (with nice clouds on fire) because I was at the a/d but I knew that with clouds and the rain of the last days I could have another shot. I couldn't use the DSLR (fixed for above) but thanks to the iPhone HDR and NikSoftware embedded in G+ you can see the drama from the old town.

I was going to bed when a new mail arrived: 500px.com has release the new portfolio!!! GREAT NEWS!!!!!
I watch the videoclip and later I click on log-in and I jumped to the portfolio setting, I launched the upgrade, I checked if my Flash-blocker or AdBlock were in charge, but a couple of minutes later it said I need to update #Safari . What?????
Uhm, ok I just finished to install my new Intel SSD (the old one from Apple was just 120 and was full) maybe I lost some update, but nothing...
I hope it's just temporary bug (also here in Italy all rain are creating some problem with cables) but uhmmmm: Come guys (500px) you did debug a couple of weeks ago I love you but this is a bad start....

The back of a Soyuz spacecraft

There aren’t many images of the back of Soyuz spacecrafts. During approach to or departure from the ISS, the astronauts who shoot photos from the station usually face the capsule’s front, not the back.

This photo of the Soyuz TMA-18 spacecraft does show its back, which may tell something interesting. On the back you can see what looks like a circular hinged cover. I guess it’s a cover of the main rocket engine nozzle opened only when it’s fired. This may be a protection of the engine from micrometeoroid and orbital debris impacts (MMOD).

The odds of MMOD impacts are greater in long duration flights, like those to the ISS, hence the need for shielding such a critical part.
