MY OWN SUNSHINE.... I am so over grey I had to make my own warmth... :)
Hello everyone, just dropped in to say "HI" and to hope all is well for you or things are getting better!! I am still with the Pastors, going to school, and working part time... with little time for much else... BUT Very happy!!!   I must get off as this is the 7th time I have tried to post and I am going to lose it.... :)  My internet is awful..

"STORM CURTAIN".... My view from a second floor window today, I was gladly too short to help with the digging out... :)    Though not going anywhere beyond our front yard as the city was not able to dig out the streets in the neighborhood.

All is well with me, I have gone to gas money hours at work, so I can go to school and or find a full-time job.... I have very short periods I can be online, so I do my homework, as my Internet/WiFi is horrible here. Still happy with the Pastor's family, though I can't wait to just have a place of my own.  Hope all is going well for everyone in the new year, and continues to stay that way....   Take care.... :)

THE END.... I have never looked so forward to a year ending as I am now....
I give NY City Times Square to you, as close as that I will ever get to freezing there for watching the crowds and the clock...week before xmas, sundown, freezing and crowded...on one side you have long steps going up to billboard where you can watch yourself, the other side is where my friend was goofing off at the bottom of clocks....if you look up, and most people are not, you see the two famous clocks you always see New Years.....

I look forward to fresh beginnings...I start school soon, I am leaving my current employer with bittersweet feelings...as I gained so much in friendships, contacts and employment for my photography, but I also learned I have permanent nerve damage in my legs because of the job....

MY DAY IN NY CITY - "Happy Holidays Everyone" .....I spent a great day in NY city...driving around, and walking all over the place after stopping at B&H for a lens to use for weddings and babies.....I had an awesome companion, my Pastor's just turned 20 going on 15 nephew....The three windows are SAKS across from the Rockerfeller Center....Elf is a Macy's entrance on 34th...the Cantina is on way to one of the Piers...the Rockerfeller tree base was more beautiful to me....but I won't go there....CROWDED, is such a small word for how the city walks were....
To all of you who have stopped by ...."Thank You"    I PROMISE ......I have an update and will make it with my end of year post....   Enjoy your days!!!

LIFE'S WATERS ABSTRACT~ My current status (A black box, don't read further if you don't want drama, just look at the shot, and move on, Thank you for stopping by and looking)  

Very long on word and drama.....Betrayal from over 30yr Christian friend, because of my refusal to accept her church and friends, put out in the street like day old trash, with no other source to go to, I know what it is to be homeless, very close to the bottom, Thank God for having a job and car to sleep in... I have been picture me, unloading trucks for a retail store that I am very Thankful to God for giving me a chance and hiring me, for no one in regular companies would hire me after having worked in the Personal Asst/Nanny work for over 15yrs, after the last 3 nightmares I had to get out, because I was ready to check out on Life...It has been painful work, where I am driving home crying from the pain,... more »

Stranger looking back..... I forced myself to do a self-portrait, I hate anyone to take my picture or to take it myself, but if anyone is going to take it, might as well be me... I look in the mirror, and I seem so untouchable again... I know that is not the case, but as they say, and now I am saying "It is what it is"... I am working on showing the smile I carry inside... "Though smiling gives you wrinkles" - No matter what anyone says otherwise... :)  I was told I needed to edit more my shot...but I decided to leave the imperfections in, after all that is what the shot is about....

Last Leaves ~  Just dropped in to say " Hi "  I have been too exhausted to take shots, working hard 4a to 11a or usually later, but very happy as the Lord has blessed me... :)
I wanted to catch the leaves before they disappeared for the year... first is a small lake town I pass every day to and from work, the other is the hills behind the town I live in.. I love the way the hill shot came out painterly without editing...
I try to visit now and then, but it is really hard right now, so please excuse my long quite bouts... Hope everyone is doing well... :)  Take Care!!

Finally a Yellow Butterfly ~ For my last days of summers I was finally able to capture a yellow butterfly...been very elusive, like my looking for a secure and safe job and living environment....Been very busy with my new job in the regular work force and actually have time to spend with friends and not feeling secluded anymore from the real world....My bad that I do not Thank the Lord everyday as I should, working on that also.... :)

This is the idea a nutshell! 

Find a high quality picture in your stream that inspires you, blows you away or impresses you in a special way and think it needs more attention!
Invite the photographer to share his/her picture to take part in our monthly "hidden gems" event.
We'll hopefully provide them with a larger audience to view their work, as well as inspiring our streams with fresh new photographers! 


At the beginning of october we´ll start our first event of hidden gems.
But you can already get warm for the idea of "hidden gems", sharpen your senses and be on the look out for your own 'hidden gems' and share the love!

Very Busy ~  Caught this bee doing it's thing in the yard, they ignore you and go about their business... now I see how they get the pollen...
I am also very busy as I got a job offer today in the real world with a big company...tried doing a somersault, almost hurt myself... :))   I still looking for another job, as I want to be back in good financial standing, that means two jobs at once for awhile.... I am not ignoring you, I will visit as soon as I can.. I should be sleeping now...

Color is coming back - Darkness is receding, the light is on me... I am back to being a normal person, still trying to get into the regular work force, but I am now living with my best friend and her family. She & one of her son's happen to be Photographer's... :)  They have a photography business, I am learning so much!!  All that darkness led me here... Thank you Lord!!  Thank you to all of you who have been and are helping me, so many of you have gone out of your way in so many ways, and I am very grateful, It helped me make it!!

My reality ~ Always looks awesome, can't accept anything else, but it is makeup, it is always about what is there when you take off the makeup, and who knows this might be a time when I think there is makeup but it is the real thing....
Not ready to come back yet, won't come back til I can handle all the positive handed out, not in my reality...and I am not talking to those friends who have stood by me, never giving up on me no matter what I put out there, I thank you for allowing me to do so and staying by me for you are the reason I hold on and keep moving forward.  
I am a survivor, I will pick myself up and keep moving and looking for better, always for better, I can't settle...But every time it takes a little out of me.... 
I know people want to hear positive, not going to get it here! I can be positive and fun, but I don't have it in store right now..I can't sugarc... more »

OUT ~  Well I had told you there was a need for continued seeking of my hopes, a bomb exploded in my world yesterday.... I had told you had found an angel to help me when I lost my job.. I have not said anything and have tried to be positive, during this current episode of my life, the person turned out to be very evil, I can't even go into that, but to tell you I have been in hell and trying to get out, I finally found a door yesterday, and was taking the opportunity when, the person in question found out and fired me on the spot and threw me out ~ 
Which made me "Homeless", had to call the police as the person was threatening to end my life.... They thought I did not have any friends and that I would end up on the street... I am with friends now, but with out a rudder... I will be off until I am settled, with home and new job, which I am in the process of  hopefullyget... more »

A Need ~ Just like I have a need to create abstracts, I have a need to make big life changes, like they say, always scary, but I can't just settle and be safe, I know if I keep looking I will keep learning and making contact with amazing people, I have hopes that I can't give up on... Drive-by Town/Church ~ I really love the area I live in as there are so many small towns and each town has it's own churches....I was lost per usual, and I was driving through a town I had never heard of, tiny town border of NY and CT, the church was on the road, it was being fixed so this is the only section I could shoot, I'll go back later because it was a quaint church, that by most areas around here was not too old. Built in 1814, the windows were really beautiful, but the sun was too bright, thus I had to go sepia to show some detail...

Wisps Of Memories ~ No specific title for this one, I am going to start a new album of as the title infers it's just a wisp of memory of occurrences or people that I photographed in my past... But I want to keep it that way just a wisp...so I will convert the shots to pencil sketch...... I like it, I hope you do....

Small Wonder....  I leave you with this small wonder I found in a cove, I had never seen live starfish and it was awesome to see them from tiny to really huge ones of all colors, even in my favorite color, purple.....  the water was low tide and it was crystal clear, this one looks like it is trying to run away... :)

But anyway, I won't be able to post til next week, so I leave you with a wonder... EVERYONE have a great rest of the week and upcoming weekend, I might be able to sneak to make comments, but I doubt it.... :)

BLAND ~ Like this flower, I want someday to feel the peace of nothing, not quite dead, you understand, just peace, with a little something like the dark parts in and around the bloom, just give me a place away from everything and everyone, except the net of course!!!   I can at least look at this and it is calming to me.......

Turret ~ I pass this church at least once a week and I am really drawn to it, I have never had the time to stop and did not have it at this time so it had to be a quick shot... This would have had to been built at least in the 1700 because of the area, I love the Turret, it is my favorite part of this wonderful old church, it takes me back in time as soon as I look at it....

WARNING!!!!  ~ I do not know how else to tell some of you that might be affected and hope you see this in time... There is Hacker/Virus sending out personal email to alot of people, when you open the email it attacks your computer.... They sent to me with a friends name to check out some properties, but when I went to open, my computer warned me not to open... a couple of my friends have gotten the same thing but with names that they would trust and not thinking anything of it... they can no longer use their computers.... I am putting tags so more people see this...
