In the 9th final round of the tournament, the national chess team of Armenia was competing with Ukraine. The games were held between the following pairs: Vasily Ivanchuk – Levon Aronyan, Sergey Movsesyan-Pavel Eljanov, Zahar Yefimenko-Vladimir Hakobyan, Gabriel Sargsyan-Alexander Moysenko.

Yesterday the Armenian team was just one step away from becoming the 2011 world chess team winner. Today the team made the dream a reality.
