Here's the video of Elizabeth Warren grilling Jack Lew that we wrote about earlier today. The reason Warren resonates with so many people is that she doesn't accept the usual fluff from those she questions. It's refreshing to see her demand real answers from people in power.

Oklahoma City Red Cross Donation Information

If you or someone you know are considering donating to the Red Cross due to the current tornado disaster, please highly consider donating directly to the local chapter rather than the national number.

When I moved back to New Orleans to help after Hurricane Isaac, I learned that people can donate directly to the chapter as opposed to texting the standard number.  I know it's not as convenient but the local support is much more valuable.

I just called the Central Oklahoma Red Cross to confirm payments can be sent directly to them.  You may also call them and pay by credit card.  Here  is the information:

The Embassy Suites Chicago Downtown Lakefront Screws Us

Today was a great day of filming at the National Restaurant Association show followed by a great meetup at Lucky Strike for bowling and fun, and everything was going great... until +Hilton Worldwide's +Embassy Suites Hotels Chicago Downtown Lakefront location decided to absolutely ruin things for us by interrupting a short interview +Cali Lewis and I were going to do in the lobby with +Rusty Greer. 

Rusty traveled all the way from Nashville to spend the evening with us at our meetup.  And we told him we'd be happy to do an interview with him!  It was so noisy at the Lucky Strike lanes we suggested going next door to our hotel lobby - something we've done in hotels all over the US, with the likes of +ABC News, +CNN International and independent bloggers and fans.

Doctor Who season finale was excellent. It really redeemed a lot of Moffat's missteps this season and was one of the best of his to date. Some amazing moments in the character's history come to film for the first time and the mystery of Clara is solved in a way that actually really works well.

Hello, Gamers!

I come to you today with a humble request and a bit of an embarrassing apology. A few weeks ago, we had a bit of an incident with the database and lost all of our posts. All of them, spare a few transcripts of interviews that we had in the CB email inbox, are gone. Zip. Zilch. Nada. It really breaks my heart, because we had a lot of great content written not just by myself, but by a handful of lovely, talented ladies as well.

This is where the humble request comes in: I have two small favors to ask of you.

We've created forums now for posting #Paizo IP sightings. That means that if you notice a "made-up" word like "Golarion" or "Desna" somewhere on #d20pfsrd.com can you please let us know so we can fix it? We've been going through the site daily searching for and scrubbing such references but we know there's still a lot lurking out there hiding under rocks and in the corners. The D.C. media is tripping over itself trying to find a theme in the week's scandals and "scandals."

He's a ruthless Chicago thug and a "wuss." He's a bystander who goes golfing too much and an activist president who engages too much. How to start a Hangout On Air with the new Google+ layout

With the changes made to the Google+ layout today, regular Hangouts and Hangouts On Air have a more clear delineation. No longer can you start a HOA from a regular Hangout window. 

The good news is, starting a HOA is as easy as ever.

Closing loopholes would be a better idea than the distractive politics being played here. Why again is the IRS being called out for doing its job and making sure these PACs are actually obeying the laws regarding their tax-exempt statuses?

I am not sure this is a good idea.  The fact that there is so much malware rampant on the net and the amount of computers that get infected with keyloggers, etc. 

I can see many bank accounts getting compromised.  Plus the fact that just recently, with the sum of $40 million+ was taken within minutes from ATM's shows us how lax security is when it comes to theft. 

I like Google wallet. But not a lot of stores use the features on their machines. Places like Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, they don't have the ability to just wave your phone over the card reader to pay. 

Even though Google states that, Google Wallet Purchase Protection covers you 100% against eligible unauthorized payments. How long will that last if too many accounts are compromised with a mass sum of money they need to cover?
