So yesterday I finally was able to buy another canvas and this is the progress I made between yesterday and today.  I will probably continue working on this piece tomorrow and see how much I get done, I really want to finish this by Monday but will see.

WIP Painting

So here is the new oil painting I am working on. It  is the first painting I am doing in my new home in Guadalajara, I have only been here a couple of days and it has been pretty hectic getting used to the new place and city, but fortunately I have had time to paint!
I'm also busy with another big project but it is still in the early stages so I won't share anything until I have worked a little more on it.
Needless to say, I will be very busy these next few months.
 I will probably post another progress pic tomorrow, hope you all enjoy!

WIP Oil Painting

Here is the final commission piece that some friends asked me to do for them. They wanted something with a musical theme, so this is what I came up with. I have included the original sketch that I presented to them done in Adobe Ideas on an iPad. I will probably be working on this for a couple more days  and then I will post the final version probably on Monday or Tuesday, depends on how much time I will have this weekend to work on it.
 I have a couple of more paintings that I have started to paint. I will work on them a little more before I post any progress on them.

Well I got a new commission for a painting yesterday, the subject: bull fighting. So I spent yesterday and part of today doing some research and then I started doing some preliminary sketches on paper and decided to do a final colored sketch on my iPad using the Adobe Ideas App. Hope the client likes it!

Here is another preview of the this  painting I'm working on, I feel like I am 80% done with it.

I have also included the original sketch that I presented to my clients, now that I look at the comparison I think I may have changed the figures just a little bit, oh well I will keep working on it tomorrow.

Here is the other commission piece I am working on at the moment. Right now I am working on two, so when ever I get tired of one or I need for it to dry I start working on the other one. WIP Oil Painting

Here is the progress I have made on a new oil painting I am working on. This is a commission piece and this person had a very specific idea in mind. The good thing is that most of those ideas where of other paintings I had done in the past. So you could say this is a little bit of a mash up.
Anyway I will probably work on it this weekend so I will post the finished painting on Monday!
