It seems that these 2 thought it would be a little dangerous to place a step ladder on top of a van, so they did it anyone but made sure one of them held onto it for extra strength.  

If the access equipment you are using is too short for job at hand then it is the wrong access equipment! You can't stack step ladders onto things to make them taller because they are not made from Lego. This is just about as dangerous as it gets. What you are looking at is not 1 double section extension ladder that is tied down for strength, because that would be madness! No, this is in fact 2 double extension ladders that have been tied off to make a quad section extension ladder!!!

Well to start with the top rung of a step ladder is not a seat! Plus the fact that those flimsy looking straps are not going to hold onto it when a bigger sized fish is caught on the line and add to that what is the point of the straps anyway?!? If the fish pulls the line too hard the person on top of the step ladder is still going to have a large fall to the boats edge or if lucky the water’s edge.

What we really like about this one from +Reed Construction Data is that there is in fact 2 idiots on this ladder rather than just the one. When scaffolding is redeemed over kill for just a small access job then a extension ladder placed inside the bucket scoop of a digger in not the answer neither. 

If you have a small work load job that requires extremely high working access then a cherry picker is the way to go not a circus balancing act.

keeping 3 points of contact? check!
Plugged in electric drill in a swimming pool with a highly conductive aluminium stepladder?...CHECK!

When working with any electrical items you should be working with access equipment made from Fibreglass because of the simple fact that it is non-conductive and NEVER working inside water with electrical tools of any kind.

Had one of my hives swarm yesterday. It was about 18 ft up in a tree so we had to put a ladder in the back of a truck. I climbed up and held a box under them while my dad shook the branch with a pole. Put the box down in the bed of the truck and by night time they had all gone inside it.
