The RPiCluster is a 33 node Beowulf cluster built using Raspberry Pis (RPis). During my dissertation work at Boise State University I had need of a cluster to run a distributed simulation I've been developing. The RPiCluster is the result. Each RPi is overclocked to 1GHz and is running Arch Linux. This demo shows the RPiCluster running a parallel program I developed using MPI to control all of the RGB LEDs installed on each of the nodes.

3d printing (and cooking) a pizza by mixing specific ingredients in layers.

we aren't talking the tastiest pizza ever... all ingredients reconstituted by multi-use powders and oils. Powders and oils that can last in their storage containers on the printer for YEARS. 

this isn't so much about fresh ingredients as it is about very long journeys where space (ahem) is a premium.

srsly? German article about LGBT people in the EU - from 93.000, 25% were facing physical violence or hate speech :(

Also in the article as a quote: "It's ok to be gay but please only show it indoors" ... dafuq? Then i think Heterosexuality should also be only shown indoor!

I keep reading and rereading this post - not out of masochism but because it contains a lot of lessons to learn - about Trolls, about Customer Support, about Engineers.

In General - even if i didn't get a Printer out of this Job - the lessons learned from +Jonathan Buford & the Development process, would have been worth the initial $ 350. For kris sake, basic Entrepreneur Workshops cost 1000s.

Again - Crowdfunding is not for consumers - so stop whining.

Finally - done with the building, mounting, painting, leveling, Q Checking. I almost got killed by the X Stop on the front left because the screws weren't fitting (10mm) - fixed it by using a 16 mm with a nut and washers. So now a last print for the night and then packing it all up and sending it out to +Claus Moreira Simoes first thing in the morning.
