HELP! Ok so maybe I'm just off my smart pills today but didn't it used to be that when you uploaded a new photo to an album it gave you the option to share it, and then when you did share it, it shared it within the album so people could easily flip through more from the album? Now all I get is a confirmation when the photo is uploaded then I have to click in the photo and share it but then it sticks it in "wall posts" or whatever and not the album? Anybody have a solution?, am I just crazy?

I just got back from a 3 week long trek across California shooting 3 hotels in 3 weeks! It was nuts, but the clients are thrilled and some great work has come out of it. Here are some from the first couple hotels, more to come, and it occurred to me I didn't have any images up for this side of my business, so I'll have to upload a bunch from past jobs! Enjoy!

Took this yesterday from a lift while shooting the Hilton San Francisco Bayfront hotel. Another exterior with the lagoon in it tonight! Big thanks to DT my assistant for helping to make some great light happen. This of course is not the final edit.

I decided to tell +Matt Leitholt to climb up on a ledge on my roof so I could get him and some NYC skyline...he did it...and in what felt like -5 temperatures too :) but we got am awesome environmental of him....and if you haven't checked out his work...you should.

My Good friend and awesome shooter... Ron Rinaldi. This was pretty much the last photo I did in 2012. You will find Ron a few times in this album, he's a great subject and a great friend. Fun, crazy, and occasionally stupid things happen when you get us together, but it's always a great time....2 or 10 beers later and some good food and we're breaking out the lights!

I'm reposting this as for some reason google didn't actually show the picture on the preview...So as +Matt Leitholt said we froze our butts off shooting the NYC skyline from Jersey tonight....We also somehow managed to get practically the same shot, The original color version of mine was taken about 15min before Matts awesome dusk capture, while mine was obviously much brighter....I decided we couldn't have that similar of shots, so I decided to process it in B&W and I was quite surprised as it came out with a nice "Gotham City" feel I think. The lighter blue lent itself to coming in handy during the black and white conversion. I've been on a hiatus from social networking over the holidays, but I think this shot is a great way to come back for 2013. I booked a lot of hotel work already this year which is quite the blessing, and I shot this from the roof of my most recent job of shooting the Hilton in Santa Clara, which happens to be right next to the new 49ers Stadium being built! Things are coming along quite nicely and it looks like it';s going to be a pretty awesome stadium! Enjoy and feel free to share!

Meet Johnny....this is part of the reason why I love shooting actors...I knew from the first time a met Johnny it was going to be a fun shoot. He came for headshots, and as he was walking in he had this big fur coat with him, and I knew right then once the headshots were done we were going to have some fun with this. He said "So want to wear this coat, no shirt, these glasses, tuxedo pants and no shoes, on the street....whatta ya think?" I said, "I wish I shot people like you everyday....F**K yeah!". So after we knocked the headshots out of the park, had a couple beers, it was off to the streets of NYC, where we made this...of course the afternoon traffic got a kick out of it too!

A local trinket shop owner in San Jose, Costa Rica... she was very sweet although the stuff she was selling was really "local" and was a little more generic souvenir, we bought something anyway as she was super nice. Either way she made a great photo happen.

Sunrise over Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. I found myself waking quite early while in Costa Rica, often before dawn, which was awesome, and when it was mornings like this...even better. I was torn about wether I liked the black & White version of this better than the color. My conclusion was simple I like them both for 2 different reasons. Today I'm posting the color version and tomorrow I'll post the black and white. Needless to say it was an incredible sunrise!
