Day 5 at Cowboy Fanfest & Christmas with +Jane Ellen 

The day started early with everyone filing into the Rodeo Arena to watch
all the Miss Rodeo America ride horses and be on display for all to enjoy and they are definitely loving this event which I only learned existed upon arriving in Vegas. We had a shorter day at Fanfest to then go talk to some awesome people, pick up our western wear and head to the +Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino for the American Country Awards to be LIVE on the Red Carpet! We had a blast and it was fantastic to take #hangoutsonair  to another level of broadcasting as it continues to improve!

Doctor Who/Pirates of Penzance cross-over

When +Kimberly Chapman proposed this, I knew that my TV boyfriend, David Tennant, had sung I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General (http://goo.gl/QNLva), but had no idea that somebody had already created a Time Lord version of the song.  The words are listed in the blurb under the video on the +YouTube page.

They could make this better by having Tennant sing the below version.  And featuring him in the video.  And perhaps sending him here to perform live.  Or not perform, if he prefers.  (I know he's married, shush.  TV boyfriend fantasies aren't to be thrown over with facts.)

Turns out there are people who disagree with me on the internet.  So I'm closing my account.  It was fun until that horrible troll ruined everything.  Take it easy guys and keep in touch.

Just kidding!  But seriously, i have seen a lot of these types of posts in the last few weeks.  Are people taking social media too serious, or do they have grandiose expectations that aren't being filled?  I don't understand even announcing it.  If i were to ever "quit you, google plus"....I'd probably just quit, no reason to announce it (in my opinion).

Biggest SUL Debate . .

Does someone REALLY have 1 million or 2 million followers if they've been on the Google+ Suggested User List?

The "Have You in Circles" Number on their profile and every article that mentions them says YES.

I think most would argue NO . . and here is why:
1. Most SULers have followers that have no clue they followed them.

2. Most SULers get way more Spammers & Bots following them. (which is partially why when someone is taken off the SUL, they lose followers
each day at a pretty substantial rate. Hi +Chris Pirillo, +Lotus Carroll, +Vivienne Gucwa, +Lynette Young, +Linda Lawrey, +Victor Bezrukov,  +Suite 709 ..they are just a few that have experienced this.)

3. Many SULers overall for a majority of their posts (with some exceptions of course) do not get a lot more engagement (comments, reshares&a... more »

Today's Adventure on the Farm ... Getting the Dog Run Ready for Winter

So, the dog's run has been overrun with giant weeds and I've been remiss in cutting them down. Today, +Blaine Hall and I decided to tackle "The Project." I pulled all the weeds early in the morning, and raked their yard. Then, I went up into our barn where I moved and tossed a bunch of bales of hay. I was muscle man! ha!

Blaine then used a pitchfork to spread around the hay for the dogs. They love it in the wintertime, and it gives an extra layer between the frozen ground and them all season long. Plus, they love to play and roll in it, especially our chocolate lab, Cinnamon. I always tell her "Roll, roll, roll in the hay" and she does! :-)
