#ifihadglass , I'd use it to find this man: Roy Arteburn, my grandpa.

He went missing about 7 hours ago. He was traveling alone to Phoenix Arizona to visit with his granddaughter and Great Grandson. He got on the flight in Houston, His bags were picked up in Phoenix, not sure by whom, but he was not picked up by my niece or her husband. Please Please Please call the authorities if you see him or have seen him. 

He is about 5'10", about 190 lbs, forgetful and last seen wearing a long sleeve brown sweater. These are fairly recent photos of him from our wedding and family gatherings.

He traveled to Phoenix today (2-22-13) on United flight 339.

Plussers!  I need your help.  On the other social media platforms I am on I asked that fans write in to get the name of one of Pluto's moons Vulcan (Romulus was already the name of a moon.)  It apparently made a difference as they now have added it as an official name.    Isn't that wonderful.

However, we now need votes, as Pluto was put put up today and we are in last place.  Would you please consider voting?

Taxi on Fire in New York

Sparks explode from the bonnet of a New York City taxi cab as it catches fire on the lower level of the 59th Street Bridge.

The accident happened on Jan 10, 2013 during morning rush hour causing the lower portion of the bridge to be closed.

Fantastic sight to walk Kodi to this morning. Alpenglow on Foraker, Hunter, and Denali (the Alaska Range). We're staying at our friends lodge, Susitna River Lodge, in Talkeetna. If you need a place to stay during your stay in Alaska, I can't recommend this lodge high enough. Tell Darlene and Howard I sent you.

Zion National Park, Utah - 2011

When one thinks of iconic locations to document in the American Southwest, Zion National Park is usually near the top of the list. With so many amazing geologic formations in such close proximity, it is not surprising that many love to visit this National Park. However not all locations are visible from your car, such as "The Subway" pictured above. Located deep in the back country, the main trail to access the subway not only requires a special permit, but takes roughly 7-9 hours to complete round trip. However once you make, you know why so many photographers are obsessed with having an image from this area in their portfolio.
