Spent a day at the Monarto Zoo, South Australia a couple of days ago. It has been a while since I've visited a zoo and walking through the place has gotten me excited again for animals. Tall, giant and graceful like this Giraffe and the strong, powerful and big beast like the Bison were my favourites in the zoological park. And I even got to feed this giraffe! He was amazing to watch! :D

Got to spend a day in Canberra on Monday. Fly in, fly out ... But I would never forget its Autumn season there.

On our way to Mt Gambier, we stopped at Meningie for a rest. The lake just over the shrubs is Lake Albert.
It was really windy and cold, and though you can't see it here, the waves on the lake were quite furious.
We didn't stay very long ... :D

More photos of our Easter Trip to Mt Gambier, South Australia, Port Fairy and the 12 Apostles in Victoria.
Love the stunning seascapes!

We drove to Mt. Gambier during the Easter break this last weekend for our 2012 camping trip. We also head down the Victoria coast to see the 12 Apostles (well about 10 now), one of Australia's land marks. It was raining and freezing, with winds that could blow us away to the seas, we managed to hang on to view this beautiful place.
I managed to snap a few photos between rain breaks, while the everyone else quickly ran to take cover further up the viewing balcony. I couldn't leave without having afew nice photos of this place. My lovely wife, was very patient and stood with me the entire time :) She was brave ...

Today I was at Sun Moon Lake, in central Taiwan. It's the largest lake in Taiwan and home to the aboriginal Thao tribe. It was very peaceful walking around the lake at this hour (around 6:00am) ... No boats were in the water, so it was very still. I only saw a few people around -- mostly timeless, old looking men doing Tai Chi on the shore. I happened across this spot, not far from Chiang Kai Shek's personal Pagoda. I don't think I've ever felt such a sense of calm as I felt standing here. It felt like I was meditating just by looking at the lake in silence. If my experience was any indicator, I'm guessing people living by lakes have lower blood pressure than city folks. ;-)

One of the artist from Adelaide Fringe painted this on Rundle Mall itself, 3D paint of Dr. Who. It's awesome to see one in real life. You really have to stand on the exact position, otherwise it looks weird from other angles. Absolutely loved it!

Some days are just worth staying back late,
Until the glow fades beneath the horizon …

Had the privilege to shoot a pre-wedding over the weekend.
Spending time with couples in precious moments like these are afew things that get me excited and want to do this everyday. It's a little peek into their lives and see the things they love. Like the first gift he got for her, the places they spent time together most, their favourite food, their favourite thing(s) to do together, the weirdest thing he got for her, the funniest thing he did for her etc ... These little events or little loves you don't get to know or isn't shared with others ... But as a photographer, I have the biggest privilege to find these things out, and the memories and laughters are shared with me. And now to you ...
Thank you to all the couples that have shared your moments with me.

Taken at Thorndon Park, a reserve in Adelaide, Australia. Was waiting till the sun was lower to take this shot and then there it is. There's a lake just further behind this tree and having picnics or BBQs here are just perfect for any occasions.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
It's 2am now (Christmas Day) and it's a warm night in Adelaide, Australia. Though, tomorrow's forecast is 27C, still abit warm, it's alot cooler than today - 38C. Not liking the warm weather days ahead in this season, but it does provide beautiful days like these to capture. And that is something to look forward to :D
Have a fantastic Christmas & celebration, and great holidays everyone!

A cup of tea, a cuppa.
Friends gather over coffee to share and spend time together.
Diners are offered a cup of hot beverage, usually tea or coffee, at the end of their meal.
Hosts provide coffee or tea for their guests.
Corporate workers take clients out for coffee to have business meetings.
Having coffee has become a culture in today’s living, probably the rare common thing one does for both leisure and business. Fancy a cuppa?

Graffiti around Adelaide. Appreciating one of the many wall arts around town. This one caught my eye as I wander back to my car.

A friend organised a cosplay yesterday, walking from Adelaide Rundle Mall to the State Library. The costumes looked great and this one in particular, got my attention. She got lots of attention during the walk to the State Library and it was a great effort for her designing the Ironman costume posing in it. Had a fun afternoon :D
