I was visiting my daughter and her family and stepped outside to take some pictures. After a while, I turned to find my grandson watching me through a window. I raised my camera and took this shot.

Unoccupied
This is an older architectural shot of mine but one I liked from the time when I just started out - which I guess is not that long ago. I thought I'd share it here. I was pleased with the minimal colour palette, although I admit the composition is quite simplistic. The architecture itself is quite eye catching and I really like the regularity of it.
This building was built as a hotel but took 5 years to open due to the recession. Now newly opened, the hotel is highly modern with a very high standard of interior design and is very cool indeed. Lots of interesting geometry inside.
I've shot this building many times but never achieved anything that I really liked so I imagine I'll be going back for more :)

-A shot taken inside the Natural History Museum in London. This shot is made up of approx 100 individual shots.I shot 20 5 shot brackets and combined them together to make 20 HDR images. I then layered all the images on top of each other in Photoshop and set about slowly erasing all the people from the shot. If anybody as ever been to the Museum they will know just how many people I have had to remove. They don't allow tripods inside the museum but luckily I was allowed to use my Gorillapod. Without some kind of support this image would have been impossible.I created a grid inside my head while taking the images and just tried to get a blank piece of floor inside each shot.

Photography Tip: When shooting night images consider adding a little light to your foreground. The background stars here were recorded using about a forty minute exposure. While the shutter was open I painted my flashlight back and forth over the schoolhouse for about fifteen minutes.
