How to Upload Photos to a Google+ Event - How do you do it??
There are at least 3 ways that I will describe below. Note that I use my own method because:
a) I want the photo I upload to show up in my Public Stream (it does NOT if I just post to the event)
b) I want to attach a hashtag of #AustinPhotowalk2013
c) I also want it to appear as a photo in the event at https://plus.google.com/events/chpb5noklnit5k9svue7ah7im0s
Method 1 (My Method):
1) Upload the photo to one of your existing albums
2) Add your post text and add the hashtag
3) Go into the Event, click Add Photos, then go find the photo you just uploaded.
The disadvantages to method 1 is:
a) It is a bit convoluted
b) It creates TWO copies of your photo in Google+
c) You end up with two different +1 and comment streams

I am having so much fun with the Sigma 8mm.
Until this one, all of photos made with the lens have been going to Google+ Local pages. Decided to try Kolor Autopano trial (explains the watermark) and I like it. Waiting for warmer weather to see how it works with some of the DC monuments at night.

Canon has absolutely hit a grand-slam with it's new 6D. The 24-105mm f/4L IS USM was going to be my next glass purchase. Looks like I'll now have to bundle it with a 6D body.
Add that to my 60D hacked with Magic Lantern and my bag is good to go :)

I had so much fun watching Sue Bryce on Creative Live the other day. One of the better CL presentations. Can't wait until her return in January ... loved her work!
Found a series from a shoot last year that had a similar sort of 'couture' style. This is one of them. BTW, so liked the way Sue used her Manfrotto 682B Professional Monopod with 234RC Swivel/Tilt Head, I picked one up. Arrives tomorrow. More to follow ...

The Surgeon ...
A slightly different HDR rendition using the "Surgeon" files that +RC Concepcion posted yesterday.
All 18 shots - 2 sets of 9 frame brackets shot were used. Starting with a panoramic merge with finish work in +Nik Software HDR Efex Pro 2, Color Efex Pro and +Adobe Lightroom 4.
A challenge since I've never used more than 3 bracketed shots to create an HDR image.

So yesterday I posted an #HDR #photography shot of a portion of this image. This is actually comprised of 18 shots - 2 sets of 9 frame brackets shot with the #Nikon #D800 . I started w/ #Photomatix this time around, but did my usual finish work over with +Nik Software Color Efex Pro and Sharpener Pro.
You'll see that there was a fair bit of work that needed to happen to get the files to look the way you want them to. Theres a lot of post work thats happening here. I'm actually working on a series of classes on http://kelbytraining.com to not only teach the HDR basics (very much like my book) but also talk about these specific scenarios. I'd love to see how you guys do with the files.
