This is very worrying! I have put a lot of time and effort into the +VirtualAstro page and to be honest the results are poor. Is Google+ worth the effort? I get a lot more out for my time invested in twitter.
I have asked over 17000 people to follow the +VirtualAstro page from this account and it has less than 1000 followers so far. Are people bothered?
I don't think this is sustainable compared to other networks.
I will try it a bit longer and if it doesn't improve abandon the project

I still have no idea why it repeats the title description in Google+ from my wordpress site? Only does it in G+ and not Google search???
Does anyone have a solution to fixing this? I use the Yoast SEO plugin and thats all I can say really.
If anyone does have a solution can I have it in "I don't know how to program websites and cannot speak nerd or geek" plain English please.

I have a question - A hypothetical one...
If you Do not use Google+ and don't have a Google+ account and never will, does Authoring matter?
When I have seen it mentioned it always mentions Google+ Is it a feature of Google+ or is it SEO dark magic?
I won't be able to use it as I personally am private and will not share images or any real world information about myself.
Could you Author a page instead of a person?

I have tried to add a shared circle to +VirtualAstro and the circle contains less than 400 people in it. I have added no other people today and it says I have exceeded my limit for adding to circles.
It says in this link http://support.google.com/plus/answer/1733011?hl=en that you can add up to 5000 in one day (I don't plan to) so why is it not letting me add less than 400

Please help as I am trying my best to use G+ and stuff like this isn't helping

If you don't like twitter (which is a bit weird) it may be because of the crap web interface. Try using a program like tweetdeck or similar to get a very rich (better than G+) experience.
I use it and thoroughly recomend it. You can view FB there too.
All the news, all the info, all the images, all the fun with a fraction of the calories :)

New Stars: Blazing and Blue

A new image from ESO shows a pretty sprinkling of bright blue stars, the star cluster NGC 2547, a group of recently formed stars in the southern constellation of Vela. Even though we recently got a more precise estimate on how old the Universe is from the Planck mission (13.82 billion years,) this is a look at some fairly young — new and blue — stars.

ASA’s Operation IceBridge has begun the 2013 research season of Ice Science flights in Greenland and the Arctic to survey the regions ice sheets and land and sea ice using a specially equipped P-3B research aircraft from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Wallops Island, Va.
Operation IceBridge began in 2009 as part of NASA’s six-year long effort to conduct the largest airborne survey of Earth’s polar ice ever flown.
