Bubbles trapped under the frozen river.

One of the ice "buildings" at Harbin Ice Festival.
It's freezing cold down there.
Battery got drained quickly. With all the winter clothes and jackets, carrying tripod is heavier there than back at Singapore. Therefore, I only use my Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens and set my aperture fixed at f/2.8 to get more light.

Absolutely love this image I took at Wulong county, China.
This is the outdoor filming location for the movie "Curse of the Golden Flower". It is located at the valley of three natural bridges in Wulong.

Nice sunset at Phuket.
This one was shot without a tripod (since I didn't bring any). I had to crouch down and find support on a rock to be steady.
I exposed the sky for this shot and use the built-in camera flash on my Canon S95 to light the foreground. With a little bit of post-processing in Lightroom, the image turned out quite well.

Enough of the food shots. This one is a traditional Thailand boat parking on a beach where we were having our lunch.
On that day, we went to Phi-phi island and its surroundings. Great landscape and turquoise sea water made this 8-ish hour trip memorable.
It was a very hot sunny day. I didn't get any shot without overexposed sky.

Hi guys, I have been very busy lately with things.
Now that I have more free time, I'll try to upload photos as frequent as previously.
I won't be uploading more photos in my 170 project since it has passed the time limit. Instead, I will be uploading some photos from my trips to countries like Thailand and China.

My first trial on shooting lightning.
Definitely not an easy task, especially in Singapore where there are too much cloud covering the view.
From about 50 shutter clicks, only 2-3 shots have the lightning in it. And it's only a glimpse.

My first Gundam model I bought and built.
It's called Gundam Astray - Red Frame.
Not really a hardcore fans of Gundam, just interested in its engineering portion (how they managed to create and combine many tiny parts into a fully-articulated model). Awesome design indeed.
