My cokin ND-filters always gives my photos this dull purple tone. I'm not a big fan of that so photoshop is my favorite friend. But, I'm still learning so critique and feedback is grately appreciated :)

I've been looking through my archives from my trip to Norway last summer and felt like giving some of the shots a new go through photoshop. I've definitely developed my post-editing skills the last year and liked how this one came out after a fresh edit.

Last week I went down to the beach after sunset to snap some shots of the lighthouse in Bunbury. A street light to the left helped lighting up the foreground.
Haven't done much night photography, definitely going to try some more in the future, it's quite fun :) Hope you like this one.

Hello world, I'm still alive!

I've found my way back to Australia and I haven't really been shooting much lately. I barely used my camera during chistmas in Norway.. which is a shame, but oh well.

Went down to #Sugarloafrock the other day. Must be Western Australias most photographed rock. I didn't really get any outstanding shots of it, but I'll share a few that I kind of like. Practice makes perfect right, so gotta get back down there some other time. Spending most of my days in Bunbury at the moment so It's only a short drive.

I know this one is over exposed and got some really bad lens flare, but I like the 'feel' it gives me, so here you go:

so I spent all my savings and ordered myself a LEE big stopper a couple of weeks back, and just my luck it got f#%&ing lost in the mail... :(  STUPID stupid  Aus Post. We have opened an investigation on it to find out where it went, but who knows.. not too optimistic about the whole situation. Man I really really wanted that filter... :<

Finally my exams are over and done with. Drove down south to Bunbury yesterday to spend a couple of days here. We arrived just in time to sneak in a sunset shot at the beach :)

HELP?
Many of you google+ people seem to have heaps of experience with photography, and also heaps of experence with different lenses etc. So, I am asking you, looking at what I usually photograph (landscapes and such) which lens do you think I should I invest in?

These are my two options at the moment:
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM
Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM

I shoot with a canon eos 5d mark II.

I would love to hear your opinions about the two lenses, pros and cons, your own experiences with them, why one would be better than the other, etc. Also, if you have other suggestions as to which lens I should invest in, please suggest!

Only 17 more days until vacation! Planning to head down to south western australia to capture some of that awesome coastline once I'm done with my exams. Can't waiiit! Also saving up for a canon 24-70mm f/2.8 and hopefully I'll be able to get it in time for my trip down south!

Managed to get in a super-quick snap shot of the sunset, sandheld, before beach handball training tonight. I won a Nikon D3100 a couple of weeks back which I use for sport and stuff, so I had to give it a go.

Sorry for the lack of posts, I've been busy with life as usual. Just spent 2 weeks in Adelaide playing handball. First at the australian university games and then representing western australia at the australian national championship. So much fun! Now my exam period is up.. so getting even more busy. But I'll be going back to Norway in the beginning of december, And by the looks of it, it might be a christmas with tons of nothern lights to photograph. Then I will spam your news feed with photos non stop, don't you worry! :)

Rabna, Norbotten - Sweden! I've just bought my self tickets to a norwegian christmas! That means I am actually going to see snow for real again this year! It's been quite some time, and I'm pretttyyy excited.

Hello from Sweden!

I drove over to Sweden last night to spend the weekend here to catch up with some old mates! It's only a 4 hour drive from my city. My family have a house in Laisvall, Norrbottens län, so that's where I'm staying. In the middle of nowhere in the swedish Lappland. Mosquitos are killing me!
