The longest set of single-span escalators in the Western Hemisphere
This was INSANE!
It's located at the Wheaton WMATA station in Montgomery County, Maryland.
The station design, because it is so deep..is very similar to London's metro system.
HOW COOL! You learn something every day! Today I went on all of the the longest single-span escalator's in the western hemisphere!

The Pine Barrens Tree Frog
I recorded this last spring..can't wait to go hear it again this spring, in advance of a wildfire. All of the tree frog's were screaming & going to safe area.
Commonly found here in NJ's Pine Barrens in the Spring & also an becoming an endangered species, it's an awesome sound. It typically will mean the "sound of spring" to anyone that lives in southern NJ. Take a listen?

WHAT! When I joined my local Fire Department..I thought people respected us..no matter what. I always thought the Police were thought of the "bad guys" in some weird peoples minds. WHY are firefighters getting shot at and being held hostage? (not too long ago there was a shooting involving firefighters in NY) WHY are we a target? What the hell did the FD do wrong? We don't have guns, we don't fight, we are supposed to be saving lives, and helping our residents. Huh? The day I have to go into a fire wearing my firefighting turnout gear AND a BULLETPROOF VEST..that's going to just be wrong. I'm sure it's coming down the pike too..

Who would have thought I am interested in a desktop e-mail client on Windows?
I'm interested. It's so simple, and easy. It's in public beta now..and it's good.
Imagine how good it will be when it supports multiple accounts. Example would be having your personal box & a work e-mail box via GApps.
Either way feel free to check it out. I hope this project does well.
Lets hope Sparrow turns into something good & free from Google.
