What makes an effective infographic?
Currently doing some unpaid work to polish my portfolio and keep me busy till I find my next job. A friend of mine has asked me to design an infographic for a nonprofit to help boost awareness and educate others. My question for you guys out there:
How should brands use infographics? What makes them effective? and What are the do's and dont's of designing them and channeling them through media?

Because limiting the personal information you put on facebook isnt enough anymore. Facebook is tracking and selling your web activity to these companies so they can continue to capitalize on you with targeted ads.

Hi! I rarely check this community, but I'm a japanese minor who recently graduated and am slowly loosing my Japanese. Glad that G+ has introduced me to some 日本人 who I interact with and gives me the opportunity to keep practicing my 日本語 (although sometimes it's difficult ^^;). Anyway, I always used this dictionary in high school, college and now when I'm writing back to people here. Hope it helps!

Makes one 9-inch pie
Oreo Crust Ingredients
12 ounces Oreo cookie crumbs
1 cup sugar
1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter
Oreo crust Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325ºF.
2. In a large bowl, combine the crumbs and sugar.
3. In a small saucepan, simmer the butter until just browned. Pour over the crumbs and stir until well incorporated.
4. Press crust evenly into pie plate and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until just set. Let cool to room temperature.

The ad portrays American farmers as small town, christian, white families, when most people know this is far from the truth. Not only is farming today more industrialized, but most of the hard work that Paul Harvey's speech talks about comes from Latino immigrants (okay and some illegals). Since this ad has aired, it has sparked a lot of controversy.
