If you're not interested in hearing my rant, here's the short version:

+Kay Motley asked me if I thought exes who continued to be friends were still in love or never in love to begin with. Personally, I think if you're able to maintain a good friendship (or even a close one), you weren't.

But I guess what really gets my goat (if I had a goat... seriously, what is up with that phrase?) is when other people become judgmental when you choose to cut ties with exes. This is one of the funniest things I've seen in a long while. Maybe because I'm exposed to a lot of these "social networking expert" types. :-) Now it's not in my nature to make fun of people or their efforts and I think Klout -- and the idea behind it -- is worthwhile. That said, I suppose this video is poking fun more at the type of person who dubs themself a "social media expert" and pursues "influence" for the sake of "influence." Love the robotic voices. As noted yesterday, I'm still quite ill, so maybe this isn't funny at all. :-)

NFL G+NIUS CIRCLES KICK-OFF

G+niuses, I have a confession to make. I'm an uber-fan of The NFL / American Football. Most people don't know this about me and would never guess it... But it's so true. I jump on the couch. I yell at the TV. I hoot and holler and cheer...
And do touchdown dances in the living room. :-)

Last night, at in the Zombithon Hangout, my new G+nius friend +George Rodenbaugh was watching the Season Kick-Off game, off screen, and we watched as he went wild when The Packers scored a killer run-back TD... He screamed and scrambled to get the computer turned around to show us the replay...
And I realized NFL + G+ is going to = FUN!

I also know that lots of people, I'm guessing especially lots of G+niuses from outside the US, really aren't into American Football... So that's... more »

One afternoon

I had been driving all day, so just had to stop and get some sleep.
So I took of from the main road onto an unpaved road into the mountains. Then I came up to higher ground the fog was so thick I had to get out of my car several times to check if I still was on the road. (I do not exaggerate :). More than an hour later I arrived at my camping site and got some sleep.

Next morning I wake up before sunset, and got some breakfast and coffee. Still the fog was extremely dense. Suddenly I could spot some light in the horizon, the sun was coming, and the fog was going.
In just a few minutes everything changed from a grey mist, to a fantastic morning view.
