I don't mean to be swelled headed but all the recent attention on my life's work researching & exploring shipwrecks is making me feel good (it also makes me feel old). John Christopher Fine did an article on me in this month's issue of "Lost Treasure." I was also interviewed by Allen Torp Jensen in the Netherlands (see http://www.adventeer.com/blog/?p=497). And, last month I was interviewed by BBC Radio, and was in major articles in publications in Austria and Finland. I made some more new discoveries this year, but they have yet to be announced for security reasons.

When I was a child I read Robert Louis Stevenson's adventure novel "Treasure Island," and afterwards dreamed of finding shipwrecks and pirate treasure. What I really wanted was a "piece of eight." I was fortunate in that my dreams came true many thousands of times over.
