Dan Soto56,122Long Overdue Circle ShareFirst, and foremost, this is not a scientific endeavor.  Most of these were chosen by the "relevance" factor that Google uses but I would not have included them if they weren't relevant to me.  The others were hand picked from the rest of the people I'm following that are either;a) interesting to meb) loyal engagers on my postsc) friendsEither way, you can't go wrong with this circle.Add it now to spice up your streamNote: Many of you already have many of these people in your circles already.  Add it it anyway as there might be a few that you don't have. Also, there is to be no "butthurt" over not being included in this circle.  I'm the only one allowed to that :)ENJOY!2013-01-18 00:46:3115036922CC G+

Jane Ellen0Name this circle what you want, but I pulled people from across the board, and pond.  If you're new to G+ or bored with your stream you'll find some G+ heavyweights here, and some folks that I feel lucky enough to have discovered. Well, they liven up my day anyway.  I have hung out with the majority of most in this circle.  They are artists, scientists, writers, singers, social media experts, teachers, IT people, and I don't even know what all else.  But they are engagers.  And they all have their own sense of self.  They post what they like in their own stream.  Which is how I approach mine.  If you like it, you engage and you keep reading.  If you don't, you uncircle and move on to someone who is more suitable to your tastes.  If there is one common thread to all of them, I tend to err on the side of sarcasm.  Keep that in mind.  Happy reading.2012-08-28 17:47:441019412CC G+
Jack C Crawford33,668Top 500 Profiles of people who always have something beautiful to say.  (Well, not always ...)  There are two buckets in this circle.  Those who interact with me all the time ... and those who I follow just because I think they are amazing. You can't miss by adding these folks.  Worst case, if any of them misbehave, you can uncircle, ignore, block, report, etc.  Gosh, that sounds really harsh ... I really doubt any of these wonderful people will require such action.Just add them.  Most of them are truly amazing ... ;-)2012-08-06 04:35:125011074477CC G+
Robert „Big Daddy“ Mosko1,841I don't normally share circles.  However I was planning to share this circle tomorrow for #circlesharefriday  .  I will not be available tomorrow, but this is a good thing for me.This circle is highly diverse in views and humor.  It is full of wonderful people who share and engage.  I hope this circle will enhance your G+ experience as much as it does mine.2012-06-21 20:21:462431205CC G+

Sebastian Hiernaux1,505Ever since a popular G member added me to a circle he later shared I have seen my followers grow 100x ... so I'm now doing the same thing.Yesterday I read an article that indicated that G+ gets really interested when your followers reach around 300 ... so I want to help other people enjoy this network as much as I do by sharing and hoping you add them to your circles. This circle I am sharing is full of funny and interesting people... its my "personal favorites" circle.Hope you find it useful...2012-06-05 16:00:01362516CC G+
Kevin Medeiros3,101Yeah yeah, this is a huge circle to share. These guys and girls are a bunch of geeks. Geeks of what type you might ask? Well, of all sorts..you'll just have to find out. I've gone through and weeded out some of the inactive users myself in order to stay under the 500 person limit. These guys make up a big portion of my stream and never fail to keep me informed about awesome shit. You may also be asking why I didn't sort them out into sub-geek categories? The answer to that is because I'm not your damn secretary :-)Just check'em out :)2012-05-26 19:20:2947711714CC G+
Chad LaFarge9,931Top 50 Most Relevant, and Why You Don't Need All of ThemFor whatever reason (obvious for many, not-so-obvious for others), Google has determined that these are the most "relevant" people in my circles. Undoubtedly it factors in interactions and shared circl...istas (?!?).These are among the people from whom I look forward to hearing and seeing in my stream daily.Do yourself a favor and screen them in a new circle rather than adding them to a circle that already has your important engagers.I say this because I don't want you to be stuck with people from whom I like to hear in case you happen to learn that I have terrible taste in content. Add the circle independent of any other, and go look at the posts from its members. Remove those that don't post content that you find compelling.Do this with any shared circle you add.Your stream can only be as amazing as you allow it be through your efforts and exercising your judgement, not simply accepting someone else's shared circle blindly.I hope this is helpful.2012-04-19 04:45:2350501CC G+

Scot Duke2,583Share My Circle The Best of G+It's time again to help out the Newbies to G+ by giving them a leg up on finding the people in G+ who are interactive, responsive and down right COOL!I hear there are a few million more here since my last so I am sure they are probably sitting there scratching their head with a look of confusion on what is going on. I remember when I got here, that was my thoughts. Wish there had been someone then sharing quality Circles. So here is my Inter-circle of real live people. If you are not in this circle here might be why.To be placed in my most cherished circle of friends you have had to: -Be someone I know personally-Have at least made one comment made to any of my posts, -Have a nice headshot photo,-Have a full profile-Make a number of original posts-Understand how social networking works.Sounds simple doesn't it! Well it is and how you should look to building your own circle. Here is your start. If your current circles are not producing the interaction you are looking for you might need to flush them and start over with this one.Warning: If you load this circle into your account to start spamming these people I can only warn you these people are well trained at using the Block for Spam button. Plus, there are a few people from G+ hidden in this circle who are very proud of their creation and I have actually witnessed them removing Knuckleheads like a bouncer at a bar.Have fun socializing..it will pay off ten times more than just gawking or becoming a Knucklehead.2012-03-20 12:07:3131326715CC G+

Billy Wilson30,060Interactive People on G+: Part OneYesterday I asked people who they thought was the most interactive person they have found on G+ and I got a lot of responses. Since people from many different communities responded I ended up with a sampling of people from across a lot of the G+ world. Since there was interest in having a circle created of the people nominated in my threads I made this circle. I'm still working through all of the nominations and will have another circle ready once I'm done working through my threads. You can still nominate people on this post: https://plus.google.com/105706178492556563330/posts/bTjXGJcRNcK The original post hit the 500 comment maximum. Virtual Brain Trust Cooperative440Virtual Brain Trust Cooperative Circle. This is being posted mostly as a thank you to the people who have followed our new Google+ page. In the brief time since we set this up, more than 400 people have added it to their circles and are following our posts. Clearly something we are doing has inspired, or at least intrigued, a good number of people here. We really appreciate this vote of confidence and will continue to explore ways we can use a bit of the extra brain power we all have to help each other. These projects will be announced on the VBT Google+ page, so be sure to add that to your circles if you have not yet done so, and also on the network we are building at http://VirtualBrainTrust.org. Some of our more advanced projects will be lauhched on that site, so please consider adding a profile there if your interest is more than casual. It is possible this may be one of the last times we are able to share this circle - we are getting close to Google's 500 member limit and shared circles have limited utility for what we are doing anyway. Still, there are some great people to follow here, They all believe in the spirit of cooperation and have offered to at least consider using a bit of their extra brainpower - their skills, intelligence and creativity to help other people. If you are looking for people who are both smart and considerate, this is a great place to start.2011-12-09 16:58:254291798CC G+

Good to hear some sense spoken about the Ferguson case.  Rather than let emotion rule the day, look at the facts and don't assume anything at this point.  Everyone seems ready to convict the cop right now...whatever happened to actually letting the facts play out?

I was shocked to see Michael Brown's mother on TV this morning respond to the question of how can we get peace in the streets of Ferguson?  Her answer was "justice", but just what is her definition of that?

You don't know what happened to Michael Brown, so stop pretending that you do http://ow.ly/2LYQwR___Good to hear some sense spoken about the Ferguson case.  Rather than let emotion rule the day, look at the facts and don't assume anything at this point.  Everyone seems ready to convict the cop right now...whatever happened to actually letting the facts play out?

Little League World Series

Every year I love even more watching these kids play and just watching the joy with which they play. I love MLB (most of all my #Dodgers), but the money and the fame can get in the way of the fact that one gets to play a kid's game FOR A JOB.

The kids are playing purely because they love the game and they have a blast - win or lose. I love watching them dance in the dugout, grin when they make a good play, and celebrate a dinger to center. It brings back memories of the fun I had playing Little League and the pride I had watching my boys play when they were younger.

If you have a little time this weekend, watch a few innings of these kids working hard and having fun!

The Gene Simmons Makeup Tutorial

As a follow-up to my post about KISS on Monday, I heard today that Gene Simmons participated in a makeup tutorial with his daughter Sophie for Cosmopolitan.  He actually does the makeup himself on tour and he sat down with his daughter and showed all the steps using his daughter as the model.  I thought it was cool for Dad to share the 40-years worth of tips and tricks he has acquired!

Come join us over on the Deep Tracks community where we talk about cool stuff like Gene Simmons spitting blood and fire!

A Monday KISS

For some reason, I have been hearing KISS pop up on my playlist and on my radio more often.  They were one of the first rock concerts I ever went to in the 70s - I was a huge fan.  From the point I bought KISS Alive (and then Alive II), I was focused on seeing them live just to see the theatrics of their show.  I wanted to see flashpots, explosions, the flying drum riser, and Gene Simmons spitting blood and fire!  I got the chance in Phoenix, AZ in 1979 - and it was everything I ever wanted it to be.

KISS has never been accused of being deep songwriters or having intricate musical interludes, but they knew how to pump out great straightforward rock anthems.

I dug into my old KISS album collection looking for a good album track that was not necessarily played on the radio that much.  Their 1977 album Love Gun had a lot of good tracks and one of my favorites was Christine Sixteen.  The subject matter may be a little sketchy these days, but hey...KISS was always a little sketchy!

Enjoy this live version of Christine Sixteen from KISS!___Come join us over on the Deep Tracks community where we talk about cool stuff like Gene Simmons spitting blood and fire!

Enjoy this live version of Christine Sixteen from KISS!___

Carbeque Today

Apparently, people saw this guy texting.  He blew the light at our building entrance, lost control when he hit the brakes and crashed into a light pole on the sidewalk.  He got out, but right after the car caught on fire.  A pretty uncomfortable conversation is coming up with his insurance company...but I am glad he is OK.

Like others here, I genuinely like +George Takei  and I think he is funny.  However, he is WAY off the mark on this statement.  It is factually and objectively incorrect and he should be called out for it as he chose to use his bully pulpit of celebrity to spout off on the topic.  An organization does not have to be a church to hold religious beliefs.  There are hospitals (they are corporations or owned by corporations) that will not perform abortions as it violates their religious beliefs.  The Hobby Lobby issue is really no different.  Just because a particular birth control method is legal does not mean that a private entity like Hobby Lobby should be forced by law to pay for its use.

About That Stupid George Takei Meme
Preston does a great job of providing all of the detailed information that I'm too lazy to write. Great overview of the rights involved in this SCOTUS case, and a refresher course about the rule (not law, HHS rule) about abortifacient coverage that was never in the bill as passed by Congress, would never have passed Congress, and made this entire thing an Obama created offense, for which he got smacked down.

The expected hyper-ventilated response from the Left.  What they fail to grasp is that this does not prevent anyone from buying anything they want - it just says that their employer doesn't have to pay for it.  Some health plans cover mental health issues - some do not.  Some cover orthodontia - some do not.  Hobby Lobby never paid for this in the past and now the Left acts as if something has been taken away.

I have often maintained that the goal of Obamacare was to make it bad enough to drive people to consider what the Democrats really want...a single payer system. The Canadian system is often trotted out as an example - but it is nothing to aim for.

As Americans struggle with determining the next steps for health care reform, whether that means continuing to tweak the ACA or “repealing and replacing it,” they should keep in mind that the success of any reform depends in part on the degree to which facts dominate fiction and ideology. Discussion of the Canadian model is worthy of inclusion in such a debate, but more in terms of “what to avoid” than as a model for reform. The reality of Canadian health care is that it is comparatively expensive and imposes enormous costs on Canadians in the form of waiting for services, and limited access to physicians and medical technology. This isn’t something any country should consider replicating.___I have often maintained that the goal of Obamacare was to make it bad enough to drive people to consider what the Democrats really want...a single payer system. The button shows the number of followers you have directly in a small button. You can add this button to your website, like the +1-Button of Google or the Like-Button of Facebook.

You can add this button directly in your website. For more information about the CircleCount Buttons and the description how to add them to another page click here.
