Every lens has a story to tell, the big one on the bottom is my veteran lens, it has seen hell and shows it. The front element is just about totally brassed, but it is still capable of capturing some captivating images with an odd character.

Today is my 30th birthday, so I'm writing this letter to Google
I'm going to put all the jokes about my youth coming to a close aside and talk about something that I usually don't ever speak of. The wave of technology in the past couple decades has been amazing. I used a lite brite as a kid. Now 3 year olds are using iPads. We've reached whole new levels but have somehow managed to ignore people with disabilities who could really benefit from these advancements. I know we all want to create things for recreation, but how about helping some people out along the way.
Hearing disabilities are rarely ever talked about and if you watched that deaf girl hear for the first time on youtube about a year ago, you'd think that deafness had been cured once and for all. He is really funny because he gets up to things with out realizing that people are around and climbs all over the furniture and counters.
on a side note, Google is thrashing my pictures again, the contrast is out of control as is the saturation. Thanks guys, that's why I love flickr.

Field Marshal Ferdinand Foch and John Joseph "Black Jack" Pershing of WWI fame more than likely touched this gun after the great war when it was dedicated to the veterans, there is a California Redwood that Pershing planted next to this.
History surrounds us as we surround it, but in a fast moving city it stands a chance of being swept away as people drive past and never get out of their cars to see.

They legitimately could not hear, they talked with sign language and when they talked normally, they sounded like you would expect a deaf person to sound.

So on my first week and almost still and my biggest complaint is that the best internet radio for this device (TuneIn Radio) doesn't work all that well at all and often times quits or doesn't even lock on to a station. I have tried a couple of radios and they are all pretty lacking. Give it a little bit of time and I am sure that this issue will get ironed out.
I do love the hardware and the ease of use, the interface is really useable and simple. The integration with MS web sites and applications is really nice as well. No wonder Google is doing every thing it can to kill Windowsphone.

So this is with in the first couple of hours of my Non Android experience and the first non Android phone I have owned in several years now. So far, I am pleased with the Windowsphone 8 experience and I really love the Nokia Hardware, top notch stuff.

Why I suspect China of leaking Prism.
Did the Prism presentation leak at exactly the perfect moment for maximum benefit for the Chinese government, or was that just an amazing coincidence?

The National Security Agency has obtained direct access to the systems of Google, Facebook, Apple and other US internet giants, according to a top secret document obtained by the Guardian.
The NSA access is part of a previously undisclosed program called PRISM, which allows officials to collect material including search history, the content of emails, file transfers and live chats, the document says.
