So... It continues ... it will never end. 
Doesn't matter in which city, in which part of the world you are.
In a South East London street, terrorists scream "Allahu Akbar" (God is greater) as they cut a British soldier's head off in broad daylight.

Then ... then ... One of them ... gets to speak to the TV news while holding the machete ... with hands covered in blood ... ... .... .... and then I just start crying because as much goodness you have in this world ... evil is bigger. 
And I fear.

Where was Shazam when I could hear?

Since loosing all my hearing that one of the sounds that I most miss is music.
It's very hard, every time  to explain how much music meant to be, how much it helped me to heal, to feel ... To enjoy almost everything. To touch almost each greats and downs phases of my life. The pain, the happiness, the thrills. 

For just over 6 months, I've been in the process of adaptation from coming back from the deaf. The silence and isolation. I'm forever grateful to technology and the science behind bionic ears, Cochlear Implant. Since having one, implanted on my right hearing nerve, I can again engage in conversations, having regain most of my audio sensorial voice understanding.

But music. Music like I once knew, music how it was meant to be heard ... that it's a negative.

Samsung we've a problem

Dear +Samsung Mobile my Samsung S3 is behaving a bit erratic! 
Device is on, but:
>> I click on power and the screen continues black
>> When screen does light up, touch is locked so I can't even insert pathern or password to access device.
>> When I'm using device, device restarts by itself!

I did a hard reset and problems persists. Any solutions?

More London

More London, the estate besides the City Hall can be a bit of heaven for urban photography. Sadly it's also private land, secured by security guards not keen on allowing you to photograph the buildings. 

As in all things, what you need is preparation and attitude. 
1. Flirt the photograph, think what you want, what you can do.
2. Have your camera settings already set up 
3. "hide" your camera
4. Walk with a purpose, you're not out photographing, you're going to enter the building.
5. Look closer for your image, steady, steady... Seen it? Shoot it!

Not sure what's the name of this building, for me it could be Batman More London!

Genesis

New Journey

A new journey is about to start.
Tomorrow it's my first day at my new job as a Digital Marketing Manager for a big publishing company.  
I'm eager to start and dive into make things happening for the company, which  is committed to make digital work. In total I'll be working with 8 magazines, developing and implementing SEO, PPC, Web optimisation, Mobile, Email Marketing, Affiliates, Social Media and Content Marketing strategies for each of them. 

It is a huge task and I'm eager to succeed!

Take my picture

Recently I've been impressed by the amount of people and the great length they go to insure you do not take their picture and that if you do, they'll request for it to be deleted or call the police.

In the space of 4 days, I had the police called on me; I had a man shouting abuse; a photographer by my side was asked to delete a photo of a group of people - taken within private property - and someone running towards me shouting "Will you take my picture, will you take my picture". I was out shooting on the street, my camera fully visible. 

Initially I didn't quite understand what she was saying while running towards me. She had a notebook with odd drawings, her hand holding several colour pens. 
With her brightest smile she asked me: Will you take my picture?

Green door

I'm literraly between jobs and while I don't start my new one, I'm taking the opportunity to visit a few places in London and shoot with friends. Today I meet +Martyn Band and both wander around the +British Museum 

Martyn has much more interest than me in shooting in museums, I like to see his take on objects and art, while I prefer the space itself.
