Facebook is currently testing a way for users to pay to promote their posts at the top of friends’ News Feeds, a spokesperson confirms to us.

The test, which is limited to a small percentage of users including some in New Zealand, places a “highlight” button next to Like and comment on a user’s Facebook posts.

I've had some time over the holiday to think about New Year's Resolutions. I've never really come up with one before. At first it was hard to see the point. Some will agree that the idea can perpetuate self-loathing, and often times is setting yourself up for failure. Yet every year I'm asked what my New Year's Resolution is going to be. I'll admit, while I'm not offended by the innocent implications that I may not:

1. Be Perfect or
2. Be Content.

I've been hesitant to craft one because I don't like to fail and I'm not confident my desire to eat healthier or exercise more is strong enough alone. If it was, would I not be doing those things already?

There is a "web designer" doing some "consulting" about a "website" across from me. I'm not sure if either people have ever been online. At least not in the last 10 years.

Her: "Can we make the links open in new windows? I don't want my customers to leave my website."
Him: "Oh yeah, definitely, you don't want to lose them"
Her: "And how can I set up a twitter? Is there like a button or something?"
Him: "I'm going to have to do some research and get back to you as that is outside of my area of expertise, but I know people who can help with that."
Her: "OK cool. And can we make my logo bigger?"
