Good day friends! Here are some great nuggets I picked up from the session with +Don Dodge and his incredible panel of start-up experts (http://goo.gl/eupUZ). 

1) Having a good co-founder dynamic plays into if you could get funded or not. Show that you've thought deeply about your idea. Do you and your co-founders get along? Are you passionate and excited, and does that show when you're together?

2) You have 10 min in your Y-Combinator interview. Make those minutes count. When you explain yourself and your idea, get your point across in such a way that you inspire someone to take a meeting with you.

3) Accelerators are useful for 3 things. 1) They're a filter for bad, decent, and good ideas. 2) They provide education (including how to raise$)... more »

Disorganized? ADHD? Collaborating? Have too many checklists and organizing notebooks and apps? Simplify with clarity...try Trello  I strongly encourage you to try Trello both for your own personal projects or for team collaboration. I've been using it since last fall and really has been helpful. You can access it online or as an app. I also love that there are tutorials on YouTube by various users applying Trello for a variety of purposes, including photography, tech startups, home organization, etc. Check it out!

I just had a great discussion with other Plussers regarding the time squeeze we feel to "check-in" on different social media platforms. While I spend most time here, I do like to visit other sites for different purposes. This photo was shared by +Guy Kawasaki . While it is a bit cheeky, I actually have found it helpful; I no longer feel pressured or obligated to check FB messages and posts so frequently. I still interact, but friends and family don't expect an immediate response from me. I posted this photo along with the best way to reach me for different levels of importance and time/urgency. It's definitely helped. Enjoy! And thanks again to Guy for the share.

Peripheral vision distractions and color choice
Hey Explorers, for any of you Googlers or Explorers who have had opportunity to try different shades of Glass, let me know if you have any comments regarding peripheral visual field distraction and color choice. If it's a non-issue, please share thoughts on that as well. I personally have no probs with glasses, but wondered if there might be issues for those with balance, vision, headache issues and the like. My naive speculation is that the visual field adjusts to use quickly and you don't even notice after some time, but thought I'd throw it out there. Many thanks!

Stretch Armstrong's pull on Linked In
I just don't get LinkedIn except for the yada yada yada about building your personal brand, etc. It all seems like repetitive lists claiming "Top 5 keys to success" and a bunch of Stretch Armstrong resume profiles and posts. If people are really that great, shouldn't they actually be doing something productive rather than posting about how wonderful they are?
