Googlers, help!

I'm signing up for Google Play All Access, and I have applied a host of Play Store Credit to my account to pay for it, and it won't let me! When I go through the activation, it tells me I can put it on my normal credit card, or redeem a credit. I've already redeemed them, though, they're on my account! 

The message says if I use the credit card to start the service, after the free month I'll get charged per the usual. Can I switch to using my credit on the Play Store once I sign up? 

I want to listen to some music, help a guy out!

Here's a question for Googlers:

Gchat and Hangout; what's up with the different list? Is that going to consolidate? I have a ton of contacts in gchat when I'm looking at gmail, and like 15 in g+; the same 15 in the new Hangouts. How does it designate who goes there? Why is it separate from gmail's gchat list? 

Also, why are actual old-school Hangouts using an external Hangout chat AND an internal chat? /cc +Russell Holly +Chris Sewell

I'm not sure I agree with that, Cirrus. I think he's doing exactly what he's comfortable with, you know? I think it's time we put the torches and pitchforks down and settled into the long fight for linux on the desktop. 

Telling our own devs that they're wrong isn't the way to do that.
