Kamay ni Hesus
Last week I was able to visit this pilgrimage site located in Lucban, Quezon. Translated as 'Hands of Jesus', the shrine rests on the slopes of Mt. Banahaw, which is considered to be a holy place by many of the locals. This photo was made after surviving a 300 step climb to the top. Actually I was feeling lazy to take one since I was so tired from the steep ascent. But I felt I had to congratulate myself somehow haha! The 50ft statue pictured here is just one of many that decorate the compound. :)

I look sleepy here... and speaking of sleep I keep having dreams about photography. In my dreams I photograph these awesome, incredible, beautiful landscapes and scenes, only to find out when I wake up it never happened. Most frustrating indeed! Does this ever happen to you guys too?@_@

If you haven't noticed, a lot of the photos I've posted so far were taken in Guimaras. I visit this island a few times a month for work and some fun in the sun. My friends live nearby this beach we always go to called Lawi. Every time we head for Lawi, we must hike for twenty minutes through thick jungle and pass through a small compound owned by this beautiful 'lola' or grandmother. She sits on her front porch all day, everyday, and always with a gentle smile fixed upon her face.

Pawikan Are Friends, Not Food!
I spent some time a few months ago in La Union and found this little Olive Ridley making his way towards the ocean. Apparently some of the locals would search for pawikan nests in the morning and sell them as delicacies on the market. I guess this turtle was a lucky one. :)

Grabbed this as I was walking along one morning on Black Pebble Beach in Antique. The 'bangka' or boat in the back is actually the same one in my first share. Very little post-processing because it was really that blue! :)

Ok folks! Here goes my second public share to G+! Thank you all again for giving me such a warm welcome into the community with my first post. I have to say I'm more nervous and excited now lol! But I am so happy to be able to share my passion for photography with other amazing, passionate photographers like you guys. Again, my work is open to any critique and/or suggestions. :) Looking forward to learning something new today.
This shot was taken during a drive through the mountains of Bukidnon, Mindanao, Philippines. It's about a five hour drive away from Davao City. It was a long ride, but the scenery was spectacular all the way through! Imagine hours of misty mountains and limestone cliffs covered with pines and wild flowers, and vast acres of rolling hills and farmlands under the bluest sky. It was all so pretty.
