Open Source Social Network Update: A lot of people have been asking me recently when the source code is going to be released. The short answer is... I’m not sure. There are still a few big features that are still in development. Here is a timeline/list of all the stuff that we are still working on. Once everything is complete I will release the code!

- Optimize all MySQL slow queries
- Private Messenger improvements
- Trading Section (almost complete)
- Security testing
- Implement Group Chat (in development now)
- Add Search feature
- Make uploading photos (especially profile photos) more simple
- Improve album/image viewing experience (similar to Lightbox)
- Security testing
- Create Developers Forum
- Final beta testing (all improvements/bugs/optimization)
- Final security testing
- Release source code!

Hey guys, I need your opinion on something... I am working on the new footer for our social network, and was wondering if the text was too difficult to read. Can you check it out, and hover over "Group Chat" or "Private Messenger" and tell me if I need to change the opacity?

Nothing is working right now on it, this is just the design. This is what's going to display once you are logged in. We still have a LOT of work to do on it. Just wanted your opinion on it before we continue. 

The social network is still in beta testing, still a ton of bugs to work out before its released. It's taking longer than expected, but I want it to be 100% perfect when I release the source code. I'll keep you guys updated on everything and let you know as soon as the website is ready. Thanks!

I finally created an indiegogo campaign for our Open Source Social Network! 

If anyone wants to help out, can you please go to the link below and leave a comment on the campaign? The more comments we get, the higher we will get ranked in the search results, and hopefully the more funds we will receive!

Also for anyone who contributes, please make sure to tell me your t-shirt size! Several people forget to tell me their size last time. I tried to email everyone who forgot, but some people did not respond and did not get their t-shirts.

Fun little script I just coded that get a centered and cropped thumbnail from a larger image. Does not use any programming, just CSS!

I am almost done with the layout for my next tutorial series "How to make a Social Network". Right now the website is ONLY optimized for Google Chrome on a PC. It does NOT look good on a mac or on any other browser (you shouldn't be using anything else anyways!)

Screenshot from my new "How to Make a Social Network" tutorial series. It's going to be written mostly in HTML5, CSS3, and PHP. I still have a VERY long way to go before I can start teaching. GUI design will probably take me a week and a half then another week and a half to program it.
