HQSP NATURE PHOTOGRAPHER CIRCLE 6.0

NEW AND VERY STRICT RULES.
If you appreciate my efforts you have to plus, comment and share this message/circle and also add +Rinus Bakker to your circles.
WHY? you can read at the end of this message, see NOTE 2.

WHO IS IN this new cleaned and updated +High Quality Nature Photographer Circle v. 6.0 ?:
HQSP TEAM & PAGES, A FEW FRIENDS AND ALMOST 400 VERIFIED PROFILES of GREAT NATURE PHOTOGRAHERS.

Do you want to be in?
How? you can read at the end of this message, see NOTE 1.

Who are not in
-People who were not nominated
-People who did not circle me back
-People who could not be added due to google
-People who did not fulfill all the requirements even though many of them are great photographers.

Why add this circle to your circles:
To fill your stream with great stuff, because this are all people with excellent photographers!

Why share this circle public?
-Others will become to know you and us and enjoy our work.
-You will get more followers which means more attention for your shares
-You will get more followers which means more friends
-You give a huge support to the HQSP project
-You will be a great encouragement for the team who does all the hard work.

What happens if you do not add and/or share?
Absolutely nothing. No more followers,no more friends, no support for the project, no encouragement for the team.

I count on YOU, as allways!
Thank you very much and I am sure you will enjoy the circle!

NOTE 1:
If you want to be in next time make sure the requirements are fulfilled:
-You are a decent and kind person and do not post HQSP unworthy stuff.
-You post 50% are above good quality nature photos
-More than half of them is your own work
-You plus, comment and share this post
That's all

NOTE 2:
Why new and strict rules?
It is a side effect of my recent success, I am still happy to be at your service, but if circle posts become at my own disadvantage I do not want  them in my stream anymore. So for all my huge efforts you have to return a relative small effort.
Also even great photographers have been removed from the circle because they did not circle me back. To stay under the google limit of 5000 people I do automatic uncircle people who did not circle me. I am sorry about that but I have no longer time to do this manually .

Hidden Treasure: 360 talented photographers to discover
a fully validated circle of photographers
        15'000 followers or fewer
▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄

360 photographers plus myself and a couple of relevant pages.

Validation process
This circle has been validated to the max. If you're in this circle you met all of the requirements and showed a nice selction of images in your stream. I personally checked more than 520 profiles to bring you this circle of hand-picked photographers that deserve more attention. I also had the help of +Margaret Tompkins in assembling the temporary circle for validation and +Manuel Votta for helping me to verify some of the requirements.

The main reasons for exclusion:
• The circle announcement wasn't shared.
• I saw an animated gif. (BTW, I saw one in Trey Ratclif's stream so I had to drop him :D )
• insufficient images or trash in the stream.
• not enough images to judge or time wasters.
• thumbnails trying to drive traffic to another website or blog

For anyone sharing this circle, I recommend that you add a few fresh images to your stream to keep your content balanced.

+Charles Lupica and +Peter From have done a service for the G+ community by creating these lists that help lesser-known photographers achieve a larger following...

There seems to be renewed interest in my Circle of "Great Photographers with fewer than 15'000 followers". So, in cooperation with +Peter From, I'm in the process of putting together a new circle from the ground up. It doesn't matter if you're into nature, portrait, street, or any other type of photography, as long as your stream contains good quality original work. Everyone with 15'000 followers or fewer is welcome to ask for inclusion.

Rules:
• no animated gifs
• profile that supports the idea of being a photographer
• profile picture and preferably, a set of banner images
• Inclusion by request. If you do not request to be included you won't be in the circle.
• If you suggest someone, they must follow up and request inclusion.
• Any one requesting inclusion is asked to kindly share this post. If you don't wish to share do not ask to be included.
• People who don't share may be excluded from future circles.
• I trim my circles frequently. If you want to guarantee inclusion you need to add me and +Peter From to your circles, if we're not already in them.

If you're a photographer and want to be a part of the new circle, let me know in the comments. I ask you kindly to reshare this post so that I can promote as many talented photographers as possible when it'll be time to share this circle with the rest of the world.

Depending on how fast this circle fills up, I intend to share it toward the end of next week.◊___+Charles Lupica and +Peter From have done a service for the G+ community by creating these lists that help lesser-known photographers achieve a larger following...

This afternoon I was returning to the house from the back field when this barred owl swooped low right in front of my truck! I watched where he (she?) landed and got back to the house and put my 200-400 on the D7000 (rather than the full-frame D3x) to get the longer effective focal length. I didn't really expect the owl to still be there, but I was fortunate. He seemed to sense I meant him no harm as he was content to simply watch me watch him. What a fun experience!

Mountain Photographer Circle - Update 3!

My idea is to create a circle for people who love to take photos of mountains, mountain landscapes and sceneries.
I'd like to see some nice green hills, steep rocks, cliffs, big walls and of course the top peaks.
Simply comment on this post and tell me your suggestions ... and please share this post so that other great mountain photographers can find us !

I will add you if you post some great mountain landscapes from time to time but I will not add you if you have too much animated gifs or exclusively shared posts.

I'm looking forward to visit your profiles and see a lot of great work !

Here are the new members of the last week:

This technology demonstration shows the ability of a 'camera' to see around corners! http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2012/camera-sees-around-corners-0321.html I previously posted a link describing the very clever techniques that enable this. By using femto-second laser pulses, a streak camera, and some clever software to reconstruct the scene, they can also create a 'slow motion' video or light propagating as well.
