Does anyone here have any information regarding +WWOOF ing? Or, does anyone here have any information regarding travel opportunities that are in a similar vein to what Wwoof accomplishes?
Why I am asking: I would like to immerse myself in a travel experience towards the end of this year (preferably autumn or later) that allow me to not only experience life elsewhere but also give back in some way with my time, labor, photography, and/or writing.
I have no experience doing this and looking around at all of the places that Wwoof currently exists around the globe is 2 parts exciting but 1 part overwhelming. Where to even start? Additionally, maybe there are... more »

Upper Manhattan sits in the distance with the Chrysler Building and Queens to the right. The trees of Bryant Park are peeking out in the bottom-left part of this image.
