Welcome to +Google+ Australian London 2012 Olympians +Olivia Price and +Sarah Cook .

Olivia skippered her boat to the silver medal in the Women's Match racing event in Sailing with Nina Curtis and Lucinda Whittey.  18 years old at the time Olivia was the youngest member of the Australian Sailing team.  I think Olivia might be Australia's youngest sailing medallist (TBC)

Sarah was part of the Women's Rowing 8 that made the Gold medal race at London.  Rowing in the Women's pairs Sarah went to Beijing for her first Olympics in 2008.  In an attempt to keep the Olympic dream alive and avoid surgery Sarah is switching to Sailing.

The girls will be competing against each other for Australia's one position in the 49erFX class at the Rio De Janeiro games in 2016.

It's so hot in +Australia at the moment of the +Bureau of Meteorology have had to add extra colours to the scale.  It now goes up to 54 degrees C.  This is the forecast for the 14th of January.

Day 366 of 366

On January 1, 2012 I commenced my fourth year in a row of attempting to take and publish a photo a day on social media.
Most of this year I have concentrated on Sunrise photos capturing silhouettes of locals on or near the beach.
Today is my last day of year 4, I am still unsure if I will continue onto my fifth year. Getting up before sunrise every day of the year is not easy, especially in winter.

So if you have been following my images I do sincerely hope you have enjoyed them this year, 100% of what I post for my yearly project is all from my iPhone, and all of the images are edited and published from my iPhone usually while i am still on location. I do own a DSLR but anyone who knows me knows I prefer my iPhone.
