I have a tremendous number of thoughts about the various revelations about the NSA's domestic espionage programs revealed this week. But first and foremost, I wanted to share this message from +Larry Page and our Chief Legal Officer +David Drummond. Google had no involvement in the PRISM program and the first we heard of it was when Greenwald's article hit the press.

I'm not sure what the details of this PRISM program are, but I can tell you that the only way in which Google reveals information about users are when we receive lawful, specific orders about individuals -- things like search warrants. And we continue to stand firm against any attempts to do so broadly or without genuine, individualized suspicion, and publicize the results as much as possible in our Transparency Report. Morgan Aeromax Start Up

I shot this video at the largest danish privat car collection: ww.strojersamlingen.dk The owner explains about the Morgan Aeromax; only 100 cars made and the original designer received 3 of them as commission. 

Notice the dog after 1min10sec. sticks his nose in the side pipe when he turns the ignition.

Choose the right supplier of optical components

There are hundreds, if not thousands of different sources for optical components such as GBIC, SFP, X2, XENPAK, XFP, QSFP, Bi-Di, WDM etc. and it’s crucial to have the right knowledge and insight  in order to safely navigate the market.  

The general recommendation is to get as close to the manufacturer as possible (regardless of whether it is Chinese, Taiwan-Asian or European), as that will give you the best baseline for your price structure.

So how can you be sure that they really are the manufacturer and not just an agent or reseller?  You can’t unless you visit their facility and that can be costly and time consuming, but I would not deviate from this.
