Last week, an SD card with holiday pictures has been found has been found at Schiphol Airport. The girl on the pic might be the owner of this SD card. Since some of the photo's feature Sydney, she might be from Australia.

Hier kun je de volledige lijst van de Top 2000 van 2012 bekijken en/of downloaden. Deze wordt zoals gebruikelijk in de week tussen Kerst en Oud en Nieuw uitgezonden op Radio 2.
Van de site
De lijst wijkt op 1990 plaatsen af van die van vorig jaar: slechts tien nummers staan op dezelfde plek als in 2011. Er verdwijnen 179 liedjes. Daarvoor komen 98 echt nieuwe platen binnen, terwijl 81 nummers een rentree in de lijst der lijsten maken. Opvallend is dat ‘All You Need is Love’ van The Beatles uit de lijst verdwijnt. De plaat stond in 2011 op 688. Hoogste nieuwkomer is ‘I Follow Rivers’ van Triggerfinger op nummer 79.

Nightwish with Floor Jansen; what an improvement. Anette Olzen is a fine singer but there was just no match with Nightwish's music.
I do hope that Nightwish will do a show in the Netherlands with Floor Jansen soon; I'm very much looking forward to seeing them live again.

Deze week zijn de resultaten gepubliceerd van een onderzoek naar gebruik (in Nederland) van social media tijdens noodsituaties. In hoeverre maken burgers gebruik van social media om een noodsituatie te melden? Laten zij hierbij 112 links liggen? Hoeveel mensen maken gebruik van Twitter of Facebook om familie en vrienden te laten weten dat ze veilig zijn?
Ook interessant in het onderzoeksrapport is het inzicht dat het geeft in gebruik van de verschillende social media. Vrijwel alle respondenten maken gebruik van social media, met een respectabele 26,4% voor Google+:

* Facebook (79,2%)
* Youtube (76,0%)
* LinkedIn (61,3%)
* Hyves (28,0%)
* Google+ (26,4%)
* Fora (22,5%)
* Yammer (20,7%)

Veiligheidsinstructies, aankondigingen, pakbonnen, ... 1,1 miljoen mensen van de potentiële beroepsbevolking in Nederland kunnen ze niet of nauwelijks lezen. De helft van hen heeft een baan, en weet veelal op creatieve wijze te verbergen dat men niet goed kan lezen en schrijven.
Eerder deze week is de site taalwerkt.nl gelanceerd. Een initiatief van de Stichting Lezen & Schrijven en de Stichting van de Arbeid. De site helpt werkgevers en werknemers bij het bestrijden van laaggeletterdheid. Onder andere zijn presentaties en filmpjes beschikbaar over het herkennen van laaggeletterdheid, maar ook een stappenplan dat werkgevers naar eigen behoefte kunnen inzetten.

In August, it was about one year I started my „Hek Waves“ stream on G+. In the meantime, I had the opportunity to “circle up” with a considerable group of people sharing interesting, amazing, sometimes critical and – if it’s needed – also a bit odd and jolting content. But – and that’s the point – it has always been a valuable, friendly, enlightening and engaging contribution to my personal G+ stream. Therefore, I think, that the first G+ anniversary is a good opportunity to say thanks to some of the top influencers of my stream and the best way to say Thank You on G+ is sharing carefully selected circles to the public.
