I just found out that they have a family shelter here in the city.  I may be able to get in there with my daughter.  We would have our own room and have the ability to shower.  Yes!!!  Have to check on that tomorrow or Tuesday.  There is no time limit on how long we can stay there, so we would be able to look for work without having to worry about a deadline to leave the shelter.  Will let everyone know what's up with that in a day or so.

Here is where I spend a lot of time with the Lord.  Solar charger on the left and my backpack with supplies on the right.  Plenty of room for me and Jesus to sit and talk.

Just a quick note to everyone on how things are going today.  My sprained ring finger is almost healed, With a little exercise, I'm able to move it easier.  I injured it in a fall almost a week ago.  It's bright and sunny today, so I'm taking the time to go to the park and read while I use my solar charger to charge up my electronic devices (mp3 player, phone and battery pack).  Today begins a 21 day fast at my church... a Daniel fast.  The church will also be open for a hour a day for those who wish to participate in prayer together during this time of fasting.  Needless to say, you know where I'll be at 6:00 this evening...lol.  Since I cannot participate in a Daniel fast (nowhere to put the fresh fruits and veggies and keep them cold) I have opted to fast during the day until prayer is over and then eat what I want for supper.  Usually that's prepared tuna salad from a can oncracker... more »

If you read leftists blogs (and sadly, I do) last week liberals heralded dropping premium costs in California.

Problem is...not much there...there.  

So, to summarize: Supporters of Obamacare justified passage of the law because one insurer in California raised rates on some people by as much as 39 percent. But Obamacare itself more than doubles the cost of insurance on the individual market. I can understand why Democrats in California would want to mislead the public on this point. But journalists have a professional responsibility to check out the facts for themselves.

It comes down to this:  Obamacare does help some people; the poorest people that don't qualify for Medicaid.  Those people will pay less than they do today.  They account for about 7% of the marketplace.

If you are in the 85% of people that were already insured...you will pay more.  Andnot ... more »

Heading over to the soup kitchen in a few minutes.  This will only be the second time I've been there since I became homeless.  I don't know why I don't go there more often.  Soup, sandwich and a drink.  Just think, if the food stamp program wasn't as bloated as it is, there would be people lining up for blocks to get into the soup kitchen like we saw in the great depression.

I just have to throw this out there quickly.  Time's almost up on the computer here at the library.  I was walking by the welfare office a few days ago with my daughter.  There was a gentleman outside offering people a "free phone."  I asked if it was the "Obama phone" and he said yes.  I told him no thanks and that I was enough of a drain on the system without adding a "free phone" to my list of tax payer funded expenses.  He said, "I'm a drain on the system too.  The system wants to be drained."  The system wants to be drained?  Can you believe what this guy was saying?  I just shook my head and walked away.  How do you argue with that type of crazy logic?

Ever get the feeling that maybe you shouldn't be sharing as much negative information about the world or our own government?  I mean, Jesus didn't harp on the Romans, did He?  I'm sure He knew what was going on around Him, but He didn't seem to make a point of speaking about it.  I think I'm having one of those, "Hmmmm..." moments where the thought has crossed my mind and I know I won't be able to let it go until I figure this thing out.

Some interesting things happened at the Abortion Center where I had my cross. I decided to read the entire book of John and during my reading this man who cam from the medical building asked if he could read a paragraph from where I was reading. I let him and he encouraged me and then he was on his way.  I managed to read the entire book of John along with Psalm 22, 40, 41.

Also, a couple of ladies who are from Hospice said that I could go in with them any time they are there because they are official and it would be allowed.  Maybe there could be a sister in Christ who would take them up on that offer.  They encouraged me and I was so blessed to be there.

Pope Francis made an interesting comment regarding atheists:

"The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us, with the Blood of Christ: all of us, not just Catholics. Everyone! ‘Father, the atheists?’ Even the atheists. Everyone!"

This statement made by the #Pope go against Christian beliefs. Do you agree that one will go to heaven if they are good people, regardless of their religious (or non-religious) beliefs?

I have a new blog article coming.  Keep an eye out.  It's about the possible impeachment of the president and how it can fit in with the NWO's plan to bring this nation to it's knees.  I've transcribed it from my audio notes but it needs more work.  Hopefully I'll have it done by the end of the day.

Here's another update.  My sister, Carol, read the blog and has since disowned me.  She will no longer allow my mail to be delivered to her home (the only address I have since I became homeless) and although she wants me to remove all my belongings from her house, she says I can't take them in piecemeal.  I have to take everything at once.  Of course, I don't have anywhere to put the bins, boxes and bags that I am storing in her basement, so I've had to instruct her to throw everything away if she doesn't want it in her house.  We're talking about those few personal things that I saved after giving everything else away.  Oh well, if the Lord wants me to start from scratch, I guess that's what I'll have to do, right?
