How red notifications work with Sharing and Re-sharing on Google Plus

Everyone knows that sharing is a significant part of Google Plus. And if you've ever had a post shared or re-shared, you also know that notifications from Google+'s ubiquitous red box can get very, very confusing.

In this post and video walkthrough by +Stephan Hovnanian you'll see how the notifications work in a share or re-share. The video takes a post by Stephan's company, +Shovi Websites, then walks through what happens notification-wise when it's shared to Stephan's personal profile, then re-shared by another. 

Key takeaway - Only the original post is ever shared. Even in a re-share. Which means the notification will take you back to the original post...unless you (the sharer) does something about it.

After 20 email lists on +MailChimp have added my to their list and begun sending me spam With OUT me OPTING IN, I am now calling Mail Chimp a SPAM CANNON and recommending you avoid this service like the plague that it is: Mail Chimp is a Plague on My INBOX! 

So, why should you NOT use +MailChimp?

Because, after I received over 20 BS newsletters that I never signed up to, I unsubscribed from them all, I am just plain pissed off right now. What this means to you is, anyone else would hit the spam button on these spammers and if YOU are USING Mail Chimp, that spam flag counts against the server, and since your spam free opt in newsletter comes from that spam cannon YOU GO TO THE SPAM FOLDER TOO!

They Are Sending SPAM IN Your Name Right Now

Here is a good example of the current Yahoo hack going on...

1st: Yahoo account is hacked, phished, or your password is so poor it's easy to break.

2nd: Your address book is exported by a bot.

3rd: New account is set up in your name.

4th: Sends spam to address book, at new account, in your name.

PSA: Do not use this website to root your Android device

If you're looking to get into rooting and Android customization, I wouldn't use root-android.org if I were you. For one, they're making pretty hefty claims stating they can root any Android device. Two, they're most likely using free software that developers have worked on and posted on sites such as +xda-developers or +RootzWiki. 

The fact of the matter is all of this software is available for free and if you're looking to get into rooting, you should have an understanding of what you are doing before you proceed. Rooting is not for everyone.

Additionally, it seems like they're playing off of +Android Central's site theme and mascot, Lloyd, for some so sort of name familiarity.
