NB. the perspective is somewhat flattened due to the 100 mm (eq) FL used. The distance to the faintly visible white building between the trees at the edge of the woods behind the bridges, just to the right of the two white lamp posts, is about 1,600 m.

There are five bridges visible in the photo:

The first, small one spans just the mouth of a very small bay at the foot of the hill. 
The second one was from medieval times until 1956 the only bridge across the river here. It lost most of its old structure when it was renovated. This bridge is now in very limited use.
The third, very distinct dark one is the "new", present main bridge.

The bridge in the middle is the recently renovated "new" bridge from 1956. Porvoo Old Town is situated on the right  behind the bridge, the rectangular, black, slightly snow-covered roof of the Cathedral dominating the view. The bridge hides the old bridge situated farther upstream in front of the sunlit area with Fortress Hill in the background. The white ship is permanently moored here and serves as a restaurant in summertime.

At the left edge of the photo, the white spot among the trees just above the house is the side of a very large glacial erratic rock with a viewing platform on top of it. This is a SOOC shot (in-camera JPEG just down-sampled, no cropping or sharpening) with a Sony RX100 without any extra optics, taken from a distance of 60 cm. The effective FOV corresponds to about that of an 800 mm lens on FF.

One of the treasures of my youth, ISO TIETOSANAKIRJA (Big Encyclopedia), the largest Finnish encyclopedia from just before WWII, published in 1931-1939. For me it was just as bad then as Wikipedia is today, I spent countless hours browsing it, jumping from article to article. I still use it to see how the World was just a few years before my time.
