#BirdPoker Singing curated by +Phil Armishaw

Monday's theme for #BirdPoker is birds Singing. (Replacing silhouettes)

I've been thinking of learning how to video birds and keep the quality up to what we can achieve with still photography for some time. Now that 4k video is here or almost here for DSLRs, I've decided to jump onboard. This video is 1080p while Canon get an affordable EF mount camera to market. The future of being able to video a bird at 30 fps and then select a single frame for a photo at 3840x1920 is amazing.

I would like everyone's opinion on opening up #BirdPoker to short videos and welcome any comments. As of today we will accept videos for a trial period to see how it works.

#BirdPoker The Next Photo Will Be... Curated by +Phil Armishaw

Thursday's theme for #BirdPoker is a bit more complicated and fun at the same time... I will just start it off and ask for a type of bird photo and who ever posts a suitable photo gets to pick the next theme and the next person gets to pick the next theme and so on. If it gets screwed up its not a problem it just makes it more interesting.

The Next Photo Will Be... A Nuthatch

This Snowy Owl has nothing to do with the game, but if I didn't post a photo a lot of people would miss this and not know the rules.

Have fun!
