This is right by where I live. And it's Woodbridge, not Woolbridge. This is a super progressive-statist area. Race-mixed couples abound. This is very, very, very bizarre. I see interracial couples at Walmart all the time. I mean, constantly. It's not even an unusual thing to see anymore. Why did Walmart single this particular guy out?

I need a windows mySQL interface that will allow me to search the entire database for a string of text. SQLYog will only let me do it if I pay for the enterprise version and HeidiSQL is comically unstable (I've tried it on two different computers now.) Any suggestions?

Not only does the audio on the GOP's broadcast of their convention suck. But they didn't bother paying for an ad free broadcast, so I had to watch a couple commercials right as Ken started speaking.  Better planning next time guys.

The audio I'm hearing at http://www.cuccinelli.com/kenattheconvention/ is horrible. It's echoing like crazy and I can't understand anything. I hope it's just something with the broadcast audio and it's not that bad at the convention itself.

I'm using the Twitter today to monitor Virginia's Republican Convention (I never use Twitter). Anybody know of a live video stream? Cuccinelli's website is supposed to offer a stream of his speech but it would be nice to watch the whole thing if it's available.

I went ahead and snagged a trial subscription to the new Google Play Subscription Service earlier. They have a "radio station" feature which, like Pandora, you base off a song or album you like. On the drive home from work late tonight, I was feeling nostalgic for my old boy scout days and I launched a station based on "Battle of Camp Kookamonga" by Homer & Jethro. The second song the station played was this horrifying little number... Apparently some peoples' Boy Scout experience was a teency bit more traumatic than mine was.

What on Earth Google thinks those two songs have in common, I haven't the foggiest idea....

Not sure what the catch is but if you're interested in getting your A+ certification, then this are relevant to your interests maybe.

And this is legit study software. I can't vouch for the quality because I didn't use it. But it's not that cheater crap that'll get you banned from taking CompTIA exams. CompTIA actually advertised this deal on their facebook page.

Actually, on second thought, I'm not positive that I've never used examforce software. But since I can't remember for sure, I still can't vouch for it.

My concern is that this could turn out to be a piece of trojan horse legislation where it masquerades as a bill to strengthen first amendment protections but it actually weakens them. At any rate, can the president not set justice department policy via executive order? Does he not have the authority to prevent Eric Holder from repeating what he did? I mean, the AG is a member of the President's cabinet.....

Annnnnnnnd there's the new interface. My very first impression is that it's not horrible. I'm not certain why it was necessary. The old interface was quite handy. Oh I just noticed the little blue refresh button that counts how many new updates are waiting. That's kind of nifty.

Enough already. People are always looking for someone to crucify. Their daughter is missing. They've been punished enough. If they get her back (God willing), it is extremely unlikely that they will ever repeat this mistake. Hindsight is 20/20. I really hope they find this girl soon. She shouldn't be hard to spot. She apparently ran away stark naked. 

UPDATE: Unconfirmed report on FB that her body has been found. Wouldn't ordinarily post such a rumor but I'm posting this update anyway. Take it with a grain of salt until it's confirmed.

Outrageous! One of the men this woman falsely accused of rape was convicted and spent almost ten years in prison. It sounds like he wasn't actually elected but, rather, his name was picked out of a hat. He'd still make a better President than anyone the Republicans or Democrats have put forth in the last few decades. I might save his name to use as a write-in in some future election where, as is so often the case, all the choices on the ballot and all the known write-ins are unacceptable.

I love the idea of these. But I would want to be able to back the recordings up to audio files on the computer. A lot can happen to a piece of hardware over 20 or 30 years. It's a neat concept though. I'd like to do something like that with my kids.

I was curious as to how these commercials were made. I thought it might just be editing or different actresses. Turns out they really are real. They filmed a bunch of fat volunteers. Then, after nine months, the volunteers who lost the most weight on the Medifast diet plan were asked back to shoot the commercial.
