I have always been confused on the debate between Arminianism and Calvinism. I am by no means a Bible scholar, but through the years of being a born again believer in Christ, I find that both have things I believe as well as things that I don't believe. How can both be wrong and right???

Looking for some thoughts on this especially on the points of Unconditional Election and Irresistible Grace.

Thought especially of you +Jeremy Hodges as I wrote this. If you would be so kind as to help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Feel free to + anyone into the conversation you think would be helpful.

I wrote this poem when I thought of all the prayers I had prayed asking God to equip me for the day or task ahead. The constant battle is that battle against the world to fight for truth that is Christ. This kind of sums up a few of the prayers that come to mind.

I couldn't have asked for a better day. So blessed. We had a Gospel group at our church this morning that was great. We played about 2 hours of hockey and came home to finish celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary. What a day.

HELP

I am looking for some suggestions on what my next art piece should be. I usually like to stick to a single verse or chapter of the Bible and I like to capture a moment rather than a story. 

I would love it if you could give me some suggestions.

I wrote this a few months ago while reading in Matthew and really seemed to focus on how amazing it is that God place certain people throughout the Bible to ask certain questions. Okay folks. Here it is!

You are getting a sneak peak and the reason being, I would appreciate your honest feedback before it goes to the general masses.  I am concerned about being too preachy or completely alienating people from wanting to know more about Jesus.  

I suppose I need to trust the inspiration that God has given me and trust Him that those who need to hear it, will hear it.  

Many thanks to the encouragements along the way, I hope to repay you all in your endeavors.  Also, +Dustin W. Stout, please thank your wife for 'grace induced freedom'.  And of course, thank you to +David Bouchard for his willingness to jump in at the start of this process which seems like months ago now!

So this is the digital art piece I have been waiting to release.

After doing the Jacob and Esau "A Forgiving Embrace" piece, I wanted to tackle something that had a little bit more behind it. I also wanted to do something that I thought a lot of people might recognize. Thus, I embarked on creating what I imagined the creation of man looked like.

This is just how I imagined it. I am curious though...

*Pay attention to who voted for the UN Small Arms Treaty by saying "NAY"*
On 25 March 2013 there was a roll-call vote taken in the US Senate.  Results here:

If the "nays" had carried, America would be now subject to the UN Small Arms Treaty - which treaty effectively guts the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution.  Here we have a chance to see where each senator stands.  Those who voted "nay" may be hoping that their vote doesn't get spread around America.  I'm doing what little I can to spread it around America.

Shattered Idol

Right where you sit, where you lie, where you stand
Wherever you are, in this moment I have planned
A minute of silence for you to reflect

A statue, and idol; so heavenly faux
