How to use a timer to be more productive

Here is simple yet powerful method to be more productive.
I apply the same method when I do my strength training routine at the gym.
I always track my breaks between every set of exercise for best results and to save time.

Write a short To-Do List:
First of all, set up a to-do list with the most important tasks for today. Set time limits for every task. Here is an example from my list:

Write an article for the blog (20 mins.)
Write ten super interesting tweets (25 mins.)
Learn 30 new words in russian (15 mins.)
Use the timer function in your smartphone:
I use my smartphone with timer function in order to track every task.
You can also use a stopwatch with a timer function.

Start the timer and begin with the task
Do as much as you can within the time limit

When walking down the aisle of a toys department a few weeks ago, I couldn't find the traditional all-purpose LEGO sets. They used to be "instruction free" and you were able to build anything you wanted back then which really challenged your creativity.

I believe that every important decision needs at least 24h before the decision is made. I would describe any decision which leads to my goals as important such as the ones in my career, the ones about my family and about my health. I would say that I make my best decisions after 8 hours of sleep and a meat and nuts breakfast (a la poliquin).

Here is an example of a bad decision that I have made:
I once booked cheap flights for me and my wife from Finland to Germany. The day when I booked the flights, I was in a hurry and thought that It was best to book immediately. The same day, my wife asked me whether I made sure that we had no layovers. I totally had forgotten, that my wife was afraid of flying. I checked the tickets and yes, we had a layover in Poland.

But it got worse. During the flight to Poland my wife said that she would never fly with a propeller plane. I have never... more »

I've received an inquiry from Jerry in Hong Kong. Like many other customers, Jerry asked me whether He could purchase a single customized Kupilka cup. Unfortunately, Kupilka has a minimum order quantity of 25 units for customized items.

I wish we could offer customized cups without MOQ and I'm sure far more people would be interested in having a personalized Kupilka cup.

What most people don't know is that customizing the cups is not automated work. It simply takes too much time to customize a single cup, yet. Let's see if Kupilka can solve this problem soon. Would be great to have a configuration system on the Kupilka website where you can customize your cup and order it directly.

Any thoughts and ideas? Let me know.

This weekend I will join Kari Kuisma, CEO of Kupilka, and representatives of Liperi, a commune in East Finland for a trip to Büchen, Germany. KUPILKA - Adventurer's Great Companion - is based in Liperi. Since I am responsible for building the distribution network for Kupilka in Germany, I was asked by Kupilka to join as well. I don't take any chance to present a brand for granted, which is why I'm thankful to be part of the team.

We are invited to present Kupilka at a local trade show in Büchen, the sister commune of Liperi and I really look forward to meeting new people.

Building a distribution network for a brand/product is my absolute passion next to making music. I work only with brands that I personally use which is why I simply want them to succeed. It takes time to grow, but for every step backward, we go two steps forward.

For example: The picture below shows the first Pallet that left the Kupilka (www.kupilka-products.com) factory in 2008. Now we work with partners in over seven countries and this is just the beginning.
